Cask (gravity dispense) at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 1 December 2009. Fairly standard amber best bitter with a mix of slightly fruity malt and tangy, mildly bitter hops. That may sound rather dismissive but it is a perfectly decent beer. Just doesn’t stand out from the crowd. Stronger than the norm but drinks pretty easily.

Cask in the Market Porter. Alround rating: Sweet honey and lightly nutty malt, floral hop doesnt manage to balance, on the sweet side. Alright.
