COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Dewey Cannon IPA is a medium-bodied IPA with pronounced hop bitterness toned with a biscuity malt character, caramel and a smooth nutty finish. Not your typical American IPA you will find more earthy bitter notes making this a real winner in the IPA marketplace.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub (Three Oaks, MI). Pours a decent hazed golden hued pour, a decent frothy offwhite near tan head it thicker, laces well. Aromas are a significant floral and citrus aroma, a good dose of lemon ans florals, a healthy dose of cut grass. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, with a good dose of florals and grass, some gentle citrus. Middle is dry and citrusy, understated and enjoyable with a pleasant dryness, with decent citrus. Finish is still quite hoppy, indeed not a complex hopping. But, fairly bitter and dry into the finish. Not bad. Dry, bitter, but not my favorite hop combo.. Dry and a bit empty.
