2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
355ml twist off. Amber pour. Smells like a freezer burnt walmart ice cream sandwich. Falvor has light smoke, caramel, vegetal hops, slight bitterness, mint, metal. Not great.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Better head. Same great graphic. Dark amber. Thin toffee in a moderate malt scent. A little burnt. Starts towards metallic, flows smooth and gets the metal back in the finish. Burnt toffee gives it a bit of a Skor bar taste. Sweet enough but flavour gets tougher and dirtier as you go. Stop worrying about need for more hops and less metal, instead looking for a drain. But then the next sip says maybe you can finish.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours clear, reddish copper with a thin white head. Hoppy aroma with grass and citrus. Tastes like an IPA without the bitter bite. Soft mouthfeel, decent amount of carbonation. An ok beer.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Looks pretty good, like a lighter dark lager. Darker than most ambers. Smell is a little tart metallic. Yes, not a bad dark beer at all! Better tasting than expected as far as the dark side goes. Quite well behaved I should say for an ale. As the session continues a tad of that bitter astringent thing starts to buid on the sides of the tongue. Yes, not bad overall but that medium astrigents bitter thing on the finish gives it a 9 overall.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear copper amber in color. Nutty toffee nose and a touch of wet cardboard. Basic amber ale taste. Light on the hops, toasty malt and a nutty finish. Overall, easy drinking brew...

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
0.355l bottle. Amber body, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, toast and a touch of floral hops. Taste of caramel, toast, a bit of floral hops and roasted malts. It’s more like an English Bitter than an American style amber. Not sure why it got so low points. It’s an OK beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a finger of white head that has decent retention and leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is light caramel with some grassy notes and hints of coffee. Taste is a floral hoppy bitterness with a light caramel malty sweetness. A decent amber ale, but nothing really special here.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Rated on 7-04-2014 (Bottle) This beer pours a medium sized smooth off-white head that is mostly lasting, amber transparent body, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing adorns my glass. The aroma is caramel malt, fruity and spicy. The flavor is semi-sweet, caramel malt and fruity. This beer is medium bodied. This is a session, but not one that enticed me enough to want again. The flavor is blase and lacks character.
