Nice copper color with a creamy head. It is a rich pleasant ale perfectly balanced between soft toffee and caramel notes and a floral-hoppy bitterness. It has a semi-dry finish with subtle coffee notes. Malt: 2 row, 6 row, chocolate, Caramel Hops: Perles, Cascade, Magnum

Bottle in Vinohrady alongside my luxury hotdog. Pours clear Copper with an off-white head. Pleasant hoppy aroma. Toffee flavour with a mild hoppy accompaniment. Quite nice.

Eww, sweet sicky rotten aroma. Like a dead rat that a child who’d been drinking caramel syrup all day had thrown up over. Nice pale amber, caramelly, but a nice tight off-white head. Taste is very caramelly, and again is a lager. Slightly sticky finish. Bad, but drinkable, sugar covers some of the flaws.

I love the labels for this line of beers but this amber isn’t my favorite. A little too sweet.

Bottle poured a clear amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of caramel, graininess and earthiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel and earthiness with a smooth dry lingering earthy finish.

Bottle. Amber color. Aroma: very sweet and something fruity and spicy, like like a Turkish lukkum. Taste: caramel and honey, malt, fruit, slightly bitter.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 221016, at St. Urho’s Pub, 20151007) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was very small and sparse. Aroma had excessive amounts of sweetness and also molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses and sweetness. Aftertaste was thin and watery. An achivement: a brew that has aroma promising a sweet malt bomb turns out to be a watery thin malt juice.

Bottle. Amber with an inch of off white head. Aroma of caramel, some nuts and coffee - quite like one of those syrups you can get at iced coffee places. Sweet, but not as sweet as that with just about enough bitterness to make a finish. Not ,my sort of thing but OK.
