Bottle, bb 062715
Cloudy orange-amber color with medium sized compact head. Some aroma of grains, hay, bread, very light fruity hops. Smooth mouthfeel, it has some caramel flavor, light residual sweetness, not much hop quality, and strong bitterness, although with a chicory final.
Average IPA.

Foamy cream colored head. Somewhat hazy amber. Aroma of grass, toffee, and pine. Taste is quite bitter with some chemical flavor to it. Medium bodied. Good elements, but overall a little off.

Bottle at a Mexican restaurant not far from Fleet st. London, November 2014. As D.O.A IPA. Clear amber with a big white head. Hoppy with a little grapefruit and floral aroma, hoppy taste, green, a little pine and rather bitter. Dry aftertaste, a little dry grass and medium-bodied.

BillKismet (3360) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2014
Luminous orange with a poofy, off-white head. Bouquet emanates a fruity bitterness complemented by a waft of woodyness, that lends and aged, tropical quality. Easy fruity and bitter body with some bitter pineapple slipped in. A nice acerbic balance to it. Toasty and bitter finish. A really solid brew.

Fresh citrus/pine aroma with a bit of floral hops. Pours amber in color. Clean citrus/pine hoppy bitternes. Slight toasty malt notes in the background. Overall, soft like an English IPA, easy drinking... nice...

12 oz bottle
Hazy amber, thick, tight, off white head and nice lacing.
Aroma is citrus and resiny hops, and bready malts.
Flavor is citrus and pine hops in the beginning, light sweet middle, sharp bitter finish. Not the best IPA I’ve had, but definitely the best Mexican beer I’ve had to date.

330ml bottle. Unique label, green. Pours orange/amber color. Smells of citrusy hops. Sweet flavor. Finishes with a charge of hops bitterness. For sure an American IPA. Has a defining characteristic of sweetness that tells me this beer is Mexican. (4233)

12oz bottle. Friend had it at his place. Drunk on November 1st. Aroma was some light grassy notes, malt heavy. Flavor was grassy, caramel notes, some light citrus. A bit more earthy than I’d normally like.

OK, now its done, macros are making everyday IPA, what’s a beer snob to do? Looks smells and tastes like any other volatile american IPA. Big rude rototiller across the back of my tongue. Waxy oily soapy happy bullshit. Yes, wew, wewwy. Big long nasty ass finsih. Perhaps the hops are blunt and dull due to the age but make no mistake, this is bordering on double ipa territory.

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with moderate head. Light aromas of pine, toffee, and toasted malts. Flavors of pine and doughy malts. Pretty straightforward and simple. Unfortunately there are so many other better local IPAs.
