Bottle to glass. Pours an average Amber color with fast dissipating head. Aroma is piney hops, kind of dank but with a hint of cat piss or vomit. Good and bad aromas. Hmmm. Taste is hoppy, but not gracefully. Not many defined flavors, very carbonated and bitter. Not a fan.

[Bottle] Light copper pour with a rocky head. An average amount of lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of astringent hops, caramel and a distinct metallic notes. Flavors of herbal hops, citrus zest and biscuit. The bitterness fades quickly in this beer. Flavors are a little rough here.

Shared bottle. Cloudy gold color. Bitter palate but that is only characteristic that stands out. Taste had nothing to offer.

pours a clear amber gold with a thick frothy off white head. Aroma is floral, no real citrus. The taste is a little fruity. Some good bitter going on. A somewhat mild IPA. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours a hazy darker orange beer with a small white head on top. Aroma has a big hoppy presence, piney resins, tropical fruits, slight malty base. Flavor is very hop forward, big hoppy bitterness, loads of citric stuff and basically not much else besides the bitter hops. There is faint amount of sweet malts in the back, but overall the aftertaste is very bitter and strong. It’s a bit unbalanced and a bit messy, but it gets positivity points for being from Mexico and actually being something else than a crappy lager.

11.2 oz bottle from Walgreens (!) pours a clear golden orange with moderate white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma has pine resin, apricot, and some caramel malts. Taste is bitter yet soapy with something chemical/medicinal in the finish. Body is medium with a sticky mouthfeel. The label artwork may be the best thing about this worse-than-average IPA

A sweet malt nose with a trace of hops. Pours a cloudy copper color with no real head and light carbonation. Sweet malt taste with a dry feel, medium body and a bitter hop finish.

Bottle from Beets. Appearance - bright copper with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - fruitcake and pine. Taste - very bitter pith, some cake again. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long and very bitter finish. Overall - slightly too bitter for me.

Meh, big fat MEH, I wanted to try Mexican craft beer. This tastes like a 2006 ipa from dogfish head. Laaaame

12 oz bottle at a taco spot in the West Village, 12/27/14
This one just kind of missed the mark for me. It has a decent, thought sort of boring hop aroma, with a flavor that is similar, but also gets a bit soapy and slightly medicinal. Not terrible, but clearly below average in the style.
