11.2 oz bottle, thanks brenn79. Aroma is doughy, chalky, bready--pretty muted. Pours hazy cantaloupe with a medium white head with good retention. Taste starts out sweet before turning bitter. No real hop characteristics other than the bitterness. Mouthfeel is creamy, body medium. Not bad, much better than the first time I tried it. It’s nice to see Mexico producing good beer!

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Thin, sticky, white head. Fusty malt. On the turn mandarin. Some butterscotch. Taste is full on bitter, with a spicy dry background. Oily palate, with a boozy, phenol thing going on. Big, grassy bitter finish. For me, this is way better than some other ratings might suggest.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Nivala. Best before: 130115. Colour is slightly cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some fruits, tartness, hops and malts. Quite bad.

taster @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear, medium amber, bubbly head cover, thin streaks of lace. Taste is light sweet malt that is quickly undone by straight bittering. The hops continue alone until the end of a short finish, when a smidgen of malt comes up for air. No doubt it’s an IPA, but not much going on.

330ml bottle pours out a amber topped with a fluffy sand head. Nose is mostly caramel malts and a touch of hops. Taste is more of the sweet malts not much hop but a bitter grapefruit pithy end.

"More bittering than aroma or flavor hops. Not very inspired. like a starter ipa or something you’d expect your buddies first ever homebrew to taste like. likely not fresh, also not dated. meh."

150th rating for this beer, from an 11.2 oz screw-top bottle best before. Nose is earthy caramel and dough, sweet, light hops and citrus. Pours hazy orange with a rocky cream head. Taste lightly sweet, dull rye-ish caramel with light citrus, crisp and smooth fullish body with light bitterness that collects until it reaches a medium level in the aftertaste. Touch rubbery, light resin, very wooden (pine) with lighter grassy and herbal notes. Another heavy beer and one that’s seemingly ten years behind contemporary brewing trends.

330ml bottle pours a clear golden color with a finger of white head that settles to leave some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is light citrus and pine with some barnyard kinda funk. Taste is a citrus and pine hop bitterness with a caramel and grainy malt sweetness. Light to medium bodied with some decent carbonation. Something odd in the flavor that I cannot figure out, but it is not pleasant. There are many better IPA’s to choose from.

I had it as "Cerveza de los Muertos" (Hop on or Die), as stated on the label. Not a single "dia" on it. I didn’t think it was as bad as the warnings. Aroma is quite malty and sweet indeed, but not repugnant, c’mon. The beer is bright gold-copper, wityh a resonable white head. The flavours make up for the aroma, with some orange peel, apricot, rather sweet as an old world IPA, but still with those pine needles, a tangy twist, and a touch of grapefruit. With a touch of resin, I find it very drinkeable.
