11.2 oz bottle, thanks brenn79. Aroma is doughy, chalky, bready--pretty muted. Pours hazy cantaloupe with a medium white head with good retention. Taste starts out sweet before turning bitter. No real hop characteristics other than the bitterness. Mouthfeel is creamy, body medium. Not bad, much better than the first time I tried it. It’s nice to see Mexico producing good beer!

Bottle from Beets.
Appearance - bright copper with a nicely proportioned head.
Nose - fruitcake and pine.
Taste - very bitter pith, some cake again.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long and very bitter finish.
Overall - slightly too bitter for me.

Meh, big fat MEH, I wanted to try Mexican craft beer. This tastes like a 2006 ipa from dogfish head. Laaaame

12 oz bottle at a taco spot in the West Village, 12/27/14
This one just kind of missed the mark for me. It has a decent, thought sort of boring hop aroma, with a flavor that is similar, but also gets a bit soapy and slightly medicinal. Not terrible, but clearly below average in the style.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber. Lively head and some lace. Clean light malt scent. Starts a little rough but smooths out OK. Not bad hopping. Not your average Mexican beer. I could have a pitcher and a plate of tacos.

Bue en bouteille. Belle IPA blond doré. Arômes de fruits jaunes, belle longueur en bouche. Belle amertume qui s'accentue en finale. Peu de sucre.

From a bottle. Pours opaque orange gold with a bubbly off white head. Tastes very dry and bitter, like musky grapefruit, pine hops, and leather. Light body and medium carbonation. Smells like caramel, grapefruit, and musky citrus hops

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Hazy, caramel coloured body, creamy white head. Mild aroma, hops and brown sugar. Easy, bitter taste for an IPA. Soft, frothy mouthfeel with light carbonation. Basic IPA, nothing fantastic. I’d probably even place it on lower end of the spectrum.
