11.2 oz bottle, thanks brenn79. Aroma is doughy, chalky, bready--pretty muted. Pours hazy cantaloupe with a medium white head with good retention. Taste starts out sweet before turning bitter. No real hop characteristics other than the bitterness. Mouthfeel is creamy, body medium. Not bad, much better than the first time I tried it. It’s nice to see Mexico producing good beer!

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2013 12 oz bottle from Wilburs. Gold and clear with a white head and lacing. Mild aroma of bitter hops and toasted malts. Bitter and metallic flavor. Not good.

My first "Mexican" IPA as well. Looks like you can pick it up almost anywhere now. Aroma and appearance are both a little "meh" looks and smells like beer, notes of caramel.
A decent blend of malt and hops so it’s not super floral. I don’t have anything really bad or good to say, which puts it just sub 3 for a score.

Yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has some biscuit and orange in it. The flavor is similar with some orange and pine from the hops and a bit of biscuit malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Enjoyed at the Pink Taco at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas. Pours a clean amber colour with a good creamy white head, nice retention and sticky spot lacing. Hoppy scent at first, but then, a little feet smell takes over. Weird !? Flavours are a nice balance of caramel malts and bitter hops, with a dry finish. Thankfully, the taste is much better than the smell. A decent IPA with a cool label.

Bottle pours a slightly hazy copper/orange with a medium khaki head. Aroma is a mineral caramel malt. Taste of metal, bitter hops, and malt. Taste like pennies. Was tolerable in the bottle, pouring it into a cup really opened this up in a bad way.

11.2 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours hazy orange/amber, nice thick head, nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruit, malts, some floral and pine notes. Nice bitterness, combined with some malt notes, perhaps a bit to sweet, but not bad at all.

Pours amber with a frothy white head and copious lacing. Nose is floral hops. Taste is fairly bitter. Medium body, lively carbonation, astringent finish. Pretty standard IPA. Good brew.

Bottle. Cloudy orange pour with thick head. Pleasant malt and honey aroma, but not like an IPA. Some hop in the flavour and finish, but this tastes more like a pale.

12oz bottle. Lite amber pour. not much hop in the nose, some malts and brown suger. Very sweet with a strong bitter balance. It lacks the hop flavors and aromas I prefer. Different take on a IPA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle - pours crimson-orange, creamy white head. Big aromas of caramel and candied oranges. Creamy full-bodied, with lots of oranges and sweetness at the finish. Fairly dry ending. More like a Pale Ale IMO, not a lot of India.
