Bottle. Pours dark brown with creamy beige head. Aroma is chocolate, lightly roasted malts, prunes, some coffee, and faint woodiness. Flavor is lightly roasted malts, some dark fruit sweetness, faint vanilla, faint hops, and some chocolate and coffee; a little watery. Light/medium body and medium carbonation.

Weak roasted malt aroma with some coffee notes mixed in. Midnight black in color and a creamy head. Tasty roasted malt and bitter dark chocolate aftertaste. Slight creamy Guinness like mouthfeel. Overall, solid...

12oz bottle shared. Pours dark brown with mocha head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is decent enough you get some chocolate, roasted malts hints of molasses and ash. Flavor is disappointing very thin mouth feel mild cocoa and ash. Mild sweetness. Overall just not a very good porter.

330ml bottle pours an opaque dark brown with small tan head which leaves only a little lacing. Aroma has cocoa, roasted malts, charred grains, and a bit of honey. Taste is sweet with a slightly sour finish. Body is light to medium without much carbonation. Enjoyable, but perhaps too watery for me to check out the next time I’m looking for a porter.

Dark brown, thin, pale beige head. Aroma is chocolate and dark roast coffee. Some sweetness in the flavor. Just okay.

Rated on 7-31-2014 (Bottle) This beer forms a small tan head with a short retention, opaque dark brown body, very little carbonation observed, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is malty, chocolate, coffee, roasty, and cocoa. The flavor is sweet, malty, coffee, chocolate, and roasty. The mouthfeel is smooth, water and thin. This beer is light bodied. For a Porter, this beer’s texture is unusually thin and watery. The flavor left me not liking it enough to want it in the future.
