Bottle. Toffee malt and orange peel aroma. Amber with moderate head. Slightly sweet toffee malt and lightly bitter orange peel flavor. Nicely drinkable.

Super malty pale ale from Los Muertos. Saw this recently in puerto Vallarta while on vacation. Not hoppy and pours deep orange. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. 330ml. A clear orange beer with a big foamy head. Aroma is of grapefruit, citrics, hops and maybe a hint ot caramel. Taste is bitter, especially at the end and somewhat watery. Yet it doesn´t fade away. Taste reminds me of citrics, especially grapefruit. There is some carbonation and astringency.

Bottle, 330ml. Clear copper with a fluffy tan head with decent lacing. Sweet, fruity hop aroma, with hints of caramel, roasted malt, spices, citrus zest and toffee. Medium to light bodied, with moderate to high carbonation. Medium bitterness, but lost the sweetness the aroma suggested. Strong roasted character, but goes slightly watery towards the finish.

Hazy amber pour from a bottle. I get a little dough in the nose but not much else. Slightly sweet on the tongue with a little caramel and dough. Can’t say there is much in the way of hops. Flabby mouthfeel. Definitely more amber ale than APA.

Amber with a cream head. Nose is caramel, lacking hops, sweet, and toffee. Easy palate, caramel, dough, toffee and bitter. Smooth finish

330ml bottle from Beer Culture in New York. Rating from September 2013. The label certainly caught my eye and the beer pours a honey amber with malt in the nose.

Pours light copper with off-white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with mild flowery tones. Taste is a bit flat and somewhat stale. The come through but not in the way one would expect from the style. The bitter hop character is also underplayed as it is cut short by a strange musty off-flavor.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours copper amber, sweet, dry and bitter, something odd - refreshers?

Bottle. Dark amber, the head is quite sticky and firm foam. The aroma is musty and earthen. The beer drinks with a metallic bite, a bit wooden, leafy, mildly caramel. Drinkable ale, almost a British style with more of a stoic appeal, without the citric bite of most APAs. (#5544, 6/8/2014)

Bottle from Mouton Rouge Canterbury and drunk at home. Clear amber colour big lasting beige head. Sweet crystal malt aroma. Some toffee. A little bit of bitterness on the finish. Not a good beer. It’s just plain and boring and too much crystal malt. Um, just a bit dull. Bitterness on the finish is ok.
