33cl ¿bb?, bien gracias idiosynkrasia for saving me a Desperados first tick from Mexico. - Orange-hued light toffee pour. Industrial sweet aroma of stewed nectarines and skimmed milk. More of the same in taste, a skimmed milk version of Fuller’s full-on nectarine biscuit, with an odd vegetal-herbal finish.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
330ml bottle (Ancho, Tallinn)
Bland sweetish APA aroma. Nice copper, tight persistent head. Mega-bland taste, soft sweet palate, like a smoothflow(tm) keg beer. Sweet malts, erm, and that’s it. Very bad "ale", not even sure it’s an ale it’s so utterly characterless. The macro lager Saku Hele rips the head off this micro "craft" ale, know that.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at Maya, Helsinki. Pours deep copper with a little head. The aroma features caramel maltiness with piney, slightly citrusy hoppiness. Taste is bisquity malty initially, later hoppier with piny and citrusy fruitiness building toward a dry finish. Medium bitterness; fairly malty for an APA but in the finish decently hoppy as well. The palate is light to medium-bodied with an average carbonation. Crisp taste, goes well with Mexican dishes.
