We enjoy Irish Reds because they are smooth and easy-to-drink. This particular beer fit the bill. Rob says, "I could drink that again and again."

Bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a small l;ingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, fruittiness and a hint of earthiness. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel and light fruittiness with a crisp lingering carmel finish.

Aroma: The nose is pretty sweet, nutty malts, toast, toffee, and caramel
Appearance: It pours a caramel color with a thick, lasting, small bubbled, beige head
Flavor: This one is fairly heavy sweet and malty, basically the nose plus some light fruity flavors
Palate: This beer drinks pretty smoothly, with a fairly soft carbonation, and a light-medium body
Overall Impression:
This is a drinkable, but underwhelming offering. It is malt heavy, a little too sweet, and lacking in balance. At its best, this is one is no better then just alright.

Bottle. Caramel malt aroma. Clear deep amber with a small beige head. Caramel malt and a light bitter flavor. Medium, lightly carbonated body.

Bottle at bluebonnet brew off 2012. Nose of caramel malts. Poured a maroon color with a white-brown head. Tasted notes of nuts, toast, cereal, malts. Watery palate. Solid brew.

Bottle. Sweet toffee malt aroma. Clear amber color with minimal head. Lightly sweet toffee malt and very mild bitter herbal hops flavor. Not bad.

Huge thanks to Butters for giving this to me so I can complete the United States. Hooray! 12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear dark amber color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel, plums and floral hops. The taste is toasted malts, caramel, stone fruits and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied.

WIN copper ... thin off white head ...sweet toffee malt ... dull toffee malts ... sweet fruits ... big berry .. touch lagery ... lots of that US malt i dont like ... not my thing ... but Oh yeah a new state ...

Bottle courtesy of cgarvieuk. Looks great, murky dark reddish amber, creamy head. Spiced, red fruity nose. Some caramel malt on the palate, lots of musty fruit and a slightly floral finish. Nice creamy mouthfeel, feels like a cask ale. Not bad.
