Copper body with an almost tan layer of head. Big pine tree and grapefruit smell. Almost sweet at first, malty, dry pine bitterness at the end. Crisp texture, moderate to higher carbonation, medium body. Solid pale ale. Perfect summer drinkin’ beer.

Taste at the brewery. Burnt orange color, clear beer, tiny head, a touch irregular. Laces well. High carbonation, medium body. Good beer, OK for the style, pleasantly hoppy, not overpowering.

When I hear pale ale, 4 names that come to mind are Sierra Nevada, Stone, Vino’s, and DIAMOND BEAR. Great copper color, amazing taste. You can definitely tell the purity in the water used. Just a damn good pale ale.

From bottle. Malty, darker colored pale ale. Not much hop aroma, but still nicely bitter to balance the malt sweetness. Good malt flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewery in Little Rock. Pours a crystal clear, orange-copper colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is lighter with some caramel, bread, a light grassy spice, and some citrus. A touch of toastiness to the malts. Flavor has a nice toastiness to the bready caramels up front with a moderate sweetness. Light citrus in the middle with a bit of a spicy grass that balances the malts well. Finishes with a kick of toast and caramel while drying nicely with a clean, light bitterness. Medium length aftertaste following a medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent English Pale Ale. Lightly hopped, but clean and balanced with a nice toasty caramel maltiness. Not bad.

Pours a hazy rusty orange brown. Nice wispy lasting head. Nose is caramel and buttery. Taste is flavorful with caramel and malt, very mild bitterness. Taste is dry and short. Personally a big fan of EPAs, quite drinkable and enjoyable, especially with a slab of English cheese. Quaff Score 7 / 10

Pours amber with an off white head and aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is sweet, of malt, caramel, bread, and hops with a dry, bitter finish. Solid english pale ale.
