12oz bottle. First Arkansas beer, thanks to a BA trade. Medium amberish in color with a small head. Slight hoppiness in the nose- not strong, but it is pleasant. Flavor isn’t anything worth writing home about... slightly hoppy, but has a bland maltiness in there too.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle from a six pack purchased at Walgreens in West Memphis, AR. That was a fun buying experience. Pours a clear amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts, leaves, toast, grassy notes, and straw. Flavor of caramel malts, tea leaves, toasted sugar, and a hint of cardboardy oxidation, which was also in the nose just a tiny bit. Light-medium bodied, with a tea-like mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not a bad EPA but I’d like to try it fresher.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tasted at 2nd STL Ratebeer Gathering, thanks phaleslu for the Arkansas tick! Poured a reddish amber color, less pale than typical, with strong white foam, lasting with lace. Aromas of toast, caramel, fruity hops and ale yeast esters. Flavor was dominated by black tea, tannins, unpleasant to the point of harsh which surprised me. The flavor didn’t live up the the promising appearance and aroma at all. Too much iron or other heavy minerals in water, perhaps? Too bad, I wanted to like it.

355mL thanks to DedicatedToFun. Pours a clear, sharp orange with a sticky lacing off-white head. Nose is thick toffee, honey, wheat bread roll, thicker sugars. Taste is bitter, dry, mildly soapy, wheat bread crust. Not too bad. Sweet. Not too bad really.
