Bottle courtesy of Atom. Thanks so much!! Pours a dark brown with a thin khaki head. Not too much retention or lacing. Aromas of cocoa, faint roasted malts and light vanilla. Taste is faint/flat chocolates, with the same roasted nuttiness from the nose. Not a whole lot going on here, a bit flat, thin and watery across the backend. Was hoping for a bit more "paradise", but still very glad to have tried it!

Bottle, has sat around for a while, but fairly climate controlled at least. Pours dark ruby black, medium brown head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving decent lacing. Aroma is quite chocolatey, roast, ashtray. Flavor is medium sweet, chocolate, light bitter. Not bad at all, actually. Medium body, nice effort.

Aroma: Slightly sweet chocolate with just a touch of vanilla; roast comes out in equal proportion, but it seems astringent. Appearance: Opaque black with foamy tan head that settles into a thin film. Flavor: More astringent roast than chocolate; fairly dry and lightly earthy finish. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Average porter with a couple good points here and there.

Black pour with a thin permanent foamy beige head. The nose is wonderous with notes of chocolate and light coffee, under light roastiness. The taste is roasty with some earthy coffee bean notes, bitter cocoa tones, and a smooth full body that’s a little smokey, like a touch of tobacco.

It poured a dark brown color with a beige head. The aroma was of cocoa and coffee; earthy, and a touch vegetal. It had a medium body with a dull tingle. The taste was of chocolate, coffee and some hay. It had a little bitter finish with hints of citrus. Decent.

Nice roasted caramel and fine balance of malts. This is a tasty porter but doesn't finish either quite as clean as some porters note as richly as others, staking a happy but not delicious medium. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
