Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy malts, light sweetness, and a weird off, almost salty, note. Not awful.

Bottle at James’s November 2012 tasting. Pours a clear golden body with one finger white head and some minor lacing. Aroma is grain, bland malt and light yeast. Mouthfeel is thin, lightly crisp, with notes of malt, stale wheat, and grain. No, no thank you.

Bottle. Pours gold with white head. Nose/taste of spent grain, lemon and yeast. Some vegetal off notes. Light/medium body.

Bottle at James’ place for a tasting, taking AR off the state list. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Soft musk on the nose and a whole heap of grain. Medium bodied, toast, a bit of pungent old grain. Long grain on the finish. Drinkable, not wonderful.

bottle. light golden with small head. pils with slight hops. hint of rotting vegetables makes this a classic arkansas beer.

Into a pint glass. Clear straw color with a finger of head.
Smells like dry grain in a metal silo. Yeah, lots of dried grain.
A bit metallic taste with a dry bitterness wrapped around. A little puckering effect.
Fairly crisp texture, light body and moderate carbonation.
Not my favorite.

Bottle from a trade with Pawola22. Pours clear pale straw color with white head. Cereal grain aroma with grassy hops. Grainy and grassy flavor. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Thanks Brian.

Taste at the brewery. Light gold color, clear, unremarkable. Aroma smells "cheap". Small head. Fresh grains overwhelm. Good hoppy finish. Points for mouthfeel, but overall, a disappointment.

Not a lot to say good or bad about this beer... a basic thirst quincher, nothing more nothing less... Drink COLD... pretty lousy if it warms up even a little... Sadly similar (marginally better) than Bud and the like.

We thought Southern Blonder was smooth and tasty. This is an easy-to-drink beer that I would certainly have again.
