2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Jeppe (2633) - Ølbutikken, - SEP 20, 2004
Yellow body, white head. Buckwheat and grain aroma, funny! Buckwheat again in the flavor. Slightly hoppy also. All right and quite different because of the buckwheat.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Ryan82SM (837) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - FEB 21, 2012
Aroma of cereal, apple, pear, honey and floral hops. Appearance is gold with foamy white head; the carbonation seems low. Flavor really mutes the fruit, brings some toast and bitterness, terminating into a long, bitter finish. Palate is bubbly. I’ll guess that this one was past it’s prime.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Onionkid (224) - Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA - NOV 19, 2011
Bottle. Malty and citric aroma, with a similar taste. Overall the beer is sorta watery, but has a decent enough taste. Definitely enjoy drinking a good Arkansas beer! 5.2% alcohol.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 ben4321 (2222) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 21, 2011
Location: 12 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 9/21/11
Aroma: The nose is malty, with some grass, a little cracker, and some light spice notes
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a bright, frothy white head and good lacing
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet, some cracker and grass notes, and a lightly vegetal/bitter finish
Palate: The body is fairly light, with average carbonation, and a pretty nice, clean mouthfeel
Overall Impression:
This one actually surprised me. It was better then what I was expecting. The nose and feel were both pretty solid, and the taste was good too, up until the finish, which kind of throws it off. Still though, this one exceeded my fairly low expectations.
