Draft at the source, new location. Hazy golden amber color, fluffy white head, lacey lacing (what else would the lacing look like? but that’s what my notes say, so it must have meant something to me at the time). Aroma of fruity pine. Taste has pine resin and bitter fruit. Nice body. Solid.

On tap @ GABF. Amber pour with a white head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt, grass, and brown sugar. Light fruity esters, mild citrus, some grain, and cardboard. Flavor is bitter grain husk, some pine, and grass. Sweet caramel and brown sugar. A bit of a fruit ester note, cardboard, and a hint of citrus.

Dogbrick (7973) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 26, 2012
Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. This beer is a clear bronze color with a medium thin off-white head and spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus and hops. Medium to full body with flavors of citrusy hops and grainy malt. The finish is short and lightly hopped. Just average overall.

BMan1113VR (7854) - Los Angeles, California, USA - FEB 5, 2010
Growler brought back by BarZigKin, thanks! Pours with a large white head and clear copper-golden-amber body. Aroma is pine, herbal and orange light hops with a hint of pepper and caramel. Taste is alcohol, hops, citrus, caramel and a touch thin. Dry and tasty. Very drinkable DIPA. Their best beer!

Ibrew2or3 (6851) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - NOV 2, 2012
Poured up on tap at GABF 2012 with a clear gold body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up mango like tropical fruit notes with just a sliver of pine off in the background and a slim sweet malt base that is showing through. The taste is similar with a decent level of mango tropical fruitiness as well as some bitter tangelo that gets sweetened up by a little bit of malt. The hops are resiny with just a little smattering of flavor hops too. It seems to be more of a IPA level of richness and flavor and hoppiness rather than a IIPA.

Thanks to barzigkin for sharing this growler. Pours golden orange with a white head. The aroma is strong grapefruit with some pine and orange notes. The flavor is similar with strong grapefruit, orange and pine hop flavors as well as some nice hop bitterness. Thin-medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle. Light amber color, but the beer delivers a huge floral aroma and flavor component. Bit bitter, but the floral perfume is predominate. Big DIPA, but not overpowering. (#4046, 12/16/2010)

(Clear growler thanks to BarZigKin) Pours clear orange with an oily head that fades fast. Nose of chlorine, honey and pineapple. Taste is lightly bitter, pineapple, caramel, and peppery. Finish is lightly carbonated, bready, sweet and cloying.

Thorpe429 (5012) - , Illinois, USA - JUN 4, 2011
From the bottle at SAVOR 2011. Pours a clear golden color with an average white head. A slight amount of lacing as it goes down before setting into a thin collar. The nose was really grainy with some slight citrus and floral hops in the background. Similarly, the taste was just overrun with grainy malt and bordered on being tannic. Body was medium and dry with some slight bitterness in the finish. I wasn’t a big fan. Serving type: bottle
