3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUN 27, 2011 Bottle from ben4321 - my first Arkansas tick! Pours an orange cloudy haze, light head. Aroma is citrus, light floral. Citrus and hop up front on taste, medium bitterness, then some floral on the finish. Medium body, long finish from the hops. A solid example of the DIPA style, and apparently it is not only just available on draft, as I poured myself one out of a bottle.

Growler thanks to barzigkin. Light clear orange pour with virtually no head. Aroma is hops, pine, grass. Flavor is bitter, pine, nice astringency. Pleasantly bitter.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had at the Foam beer festival in Fayetteville Spring 2013. Pours amber. Significant malt flavor and rather sweet for my taste. Good overall though.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
The last two guys to rate this on here are some of my best friends, and top beer nerds, but Itís like were drinking a different beer. Maybe because itís a winter seasonal and Iím drinking it on July...
Pours like your average corporate beer, with perhaps a little more color and lacing. It doesnít smell good or bad, thereís almost no aroma at all. Palate is flat as well, I didnít get much hops, a little sugar maybe, but it basically tastes like a flat english beer to me. I donít like flat english beer. Finishes clean, so thereís that, but thatís about it.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Into a pint glass. Nice two fingers of foam head. Cloudy copper with lots of bubbles visible.
A soft grapefruit smell.
Bold pine and lemon taste. An almost crushing bitterness without let up.
Medium body and moderate carbonation.
A solid double IPA. From beginning to end it lets you know with its bitterness. A little more complex taste would be bonus.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Taste at the brewery. Ok, so this is a heavyhanded attempt compared to other double IPAs Iíve had, not very graceful. Dark yellow, clear, laces pretty well. All I taste are pine needles, unfortunately. No alcoholic taste, at least. It needs something else. Not a session beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler thanks to me! Appealing clear, copper body with a bumpy off-white head that recedes quickly leaving some lacing. Light pine and floral hop notes on the nose. Piney, medium grapefruit and balanced malt flavors. Pleasant mild, lingering resin and citrus bitter finish. Medium mouthfeel. Almost medium body. Smooth and balanced overall.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: hazy golden color with particles floating around, medium sized off white head that retains very soon, laces nicely Aroma: coffee in the malt, coriander, Taste: grass, pine, bitterness, faint coriander, Palate: highly carbonated, leaves a pretty strong bitter aftertaste, light mouth feel Overall: not a bad beer but nothing great about it, pretty bitter ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
FROM NOTES: July 19, í12
Poured on draft into a pint glass at The Bulldog, Jackson, MS.
A: Piney, floral hops with a hint of sweetness from a honey type notes. Mostly floral/citrus type notes that are expected in an IPA.
A: Pours a deep gold with a large dense white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
T: Malty and a bit sweet. Strong caramel notes, some toffee, hints of honey-like sweetness. Hops are definitely there for bittering, but seem to just balance the malts. Citrus rind and maybe some pine. I was expecting a bit more complexity, it just seems like the hops donít live up to the aroma.
P: Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
O: NO WAY this is a DIPA. Very drinkable and enjoyable, but NOT a DIPA.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very hazy copper orange pour. Lots of sediment. Medium fluffy white head with good lacing. Aroma is very hoppy. Mostly earthy and spicy characteristics. Malty sweetness comes through. Backdrop of citrus and pine. A little boozy. Flavor is very similar. Very earthy dank hops. Some spiciness. Caramel sweetness comes through a bit as well. Not a big fan of hop varieties.
