COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Diamond Knot's Bavarian Ale is one of the seasonal ales that is most anticipated, and most greatly enjoyed when it finally arrives on tap around the first of October. This is an ale that captures the Bavarian maltiness that good German ales are known for, while remaining as unique as all of the Diamond Knot line of ales. You will enjoy a perfectly balanced malt profile that is extremely smooth, malty, a little sweet and is followed by a pleasant dry finish. Diamond Knot Bavarian Ale features: 2 Row Pale Malt Crystal Malt Munich Malt Vienna Malt Hallertauer Hops for bittering Hallertauer Hops for finish

Pours a brown color with a small head on top. Aroma is mostly malty with nuts and caramel commanding. Flavor is caramel, chocolate, and nuts. Nothing amazing about this beer, drinkable.

Tap at the Latona Pub in Seattle.

Pours an attractive light nutty brown without much head. Sweet caramel and archard fruit on the nose. The flavor is dominated by cookie malts and slightly nutty tones; the finish is quite hoppy for the style, but that really isn’t the problem. The problem is that in the end, this one is a rather boring beer.

Gold color. Nutty lighty roasted nose. Light malt palte with and odd tart finish. Would like to try it again and re rate

Bronze gold with a crisp head this beer had a pleasantly nutty malt aroma with a hint of toasted chocolate. The body had a subdued, but sharp, malt flavor--a middle of the road dunkel/brown ale.
