COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is a beautiful deep amber/brown in color, reminiscent of the most noblest of not only American, but also Bristish Browns. The complex malty flavor comes from the 6 distinct grains that make up the grain bill. Add a Willamette hop finish, and you get a brew that compliments any occasion.

Nitro. Bright golden brown with fake nitro head. No particular aroma. Vaguely nutty, sweet malty flavour with hints of brown sugar. Sweet, quick finish. Another nitrokilled ale.

Poured from 22 ounce bottle. Lightly hazy, sparkling, nearly clear ruddy brown with a head of huge billows of tan foam and excellent lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, toffee, doughy yeast and a touch of pine resin. Taste of lightly toasted bread and sweet caramel malts and earthy hops with a slightly tart, yet sweet finish. Light body and medium carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a bomber. Very nice bready aroma. Pour is rather foamy. Lots of co2 on the buds. Big beefy flavor is mellowed by the sizzle in this beer. Seems a tad wild. Yes, bitter fer sure with an alky kick but that co2 is kick ass. Foam continues on top of the beer. Lingering hop bitter finish for quite a while. Zippy.

From Beerlicious iPhone app: Brown and cloudy with frothy tan. Light sour with short finish. Medium body that feels creamy yet slick. Bitter finish.

Clear brown body with very small tan head. Aroma is malty, slightly earthy, lightly sugary and nutty. Taste is malty and a bit acidic, The finish is toasted malts with a slight sourness and exhibits a touch of tea leaves. The palate is a little thin and also a little fizzy.

Poured a large bottle into a trumpet glass to drink. The beer had a cloudy light-brown/dark amber color with a thin bubbly white head that had little retention and minimal cling. Its aroma had malt notes of caramel and brown sugar, paired with some earthy hops, cereal, and grain. It tasted mostly sweet and malty, with a bit of caramel, and a touch of grainy bitterness at the end. The beer had low carbonation and fizz, and was a bit thin and light in the mouth, with moderate dryness.

Ruby red color with a small fluffy off-white head. Ruddy earthen hops in the aroma with some nuttiness. Vegetal hop flavors intercede upon thin nutty and light alefruit flavors. Tinges of soil and prominent roasted nuts in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium light, slightly dry.

THOUGHTS: Sort of generic, but well made and easy to drink. It’s called a brown ale and it tasted like a brown ale. Got a little more complex as it warmed. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, medium to dark reddish brown with a small to average, off-white head that mostly diminished and left good lacing. The aroma had moderate to heavy nutty and toasted malts, molasses and caramel; lighter roasted malt and milk chocolate; slight sour cherry, toffee, brown sugar, maple syrup and the tiniest hint of soured milk. The initial flavor was moderately sweet, slightly bitter and lightly acidic; while the finish was mod to heavily sweet, lightly acidic and slightly sour with a short to average duration. There was caramel, brown sugar, slightly sour fruit, maple syrup, toffee, nutty and toasted malt and hints of chocolate. The medium body was a little watery and then a little dry with rather fizzy carbonation and a slightly astringent finish.

Thin off-white head that reduces rather quickly. Strong roasty aroma with some dried tea leaves, cocoa and roasted grains. Color is a cloudy ruddy brown. Wow, not what I expected in the flavor. This has got some funk to it and not what it should be. Roasted grains, more bitter tea leaves, sweet malts and a sourness that just makes the mouth salivate. I understand the use of the sourness in beers but it just does not go well with a brown ale at all. Light lingering chocolate malts along with the lingering sourness. Not a very good brew but I doubt that the sourness was intended for the beer.

650ml bottle pours brown in color with 2 fingers of off-white head that leaves a slight trace of lacing on the glass. Aroma is lightly toasted malts and some earthy hops. Taste is malty sweet with some chocolate and an earthy bitter finish that ends slightly sour. Maybe this one was just starting to turn bad. Medium body and carbonation. This was a nice brown ale until the sourness in the finish and may have scored higher.

Bottle:   Deep brown, thin sudsy white head, sparce lacing.   Rich biscuity nose, slightly bready, a little nutty.   Quite malty on the tongue, sweet, quite sweet, with a cereal and honey aspect.   Reminds me of those old honeybee candies.   As it warms I get more cereal like malts.   Underlying honey and cereal like malts.   A little astringent on the backside.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Seems a little like a biscuity Honeycomb cereal like flavor.   Not my kind of brown, too sweet and cereal like.
