3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 bhensonb (7586) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 14, 2011
Tap at the brewpub. Pours very pale gold with a creamy white head. Light malty? aroma. It is actually creamy. The flavor seems pale lmalt, light citrus and a touch of vanilla. It’s mildly flavored, but not all that simple. Drinks easier than water. Washed down a Blue Flamer nicely.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 presario (4133) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 2, 2010
Tap at Diamond Knot. Pale yellow. I found it a pretty standard boring Cream Ale. Generic. Just not much flavour in here and not a delicate study in brewing.
4.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 anniebananie (1) - Washington, USA - MAY 11, 2010 does not count
This ale is so far the best lighter beer I’ve ever had! It’s got a honey flavor that makes me think they just went out back and stole some from a beehive 5 min ago. It’s got a hint of citrus as well. It’s the first beer I’ve ever hard-core craved. It’ll make an alcoholic out of me yet! Going to get some tonight...
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 after4ever (4500) - Brier, Washington, USA - MAR 1, 2010
draft at the mukilteo pub. pours a crystal clear and very pale gold with a frothy, sudsy platinum blond head that falls to a nice mess of film and stringy lace. wet hay and wet grass on the nose. nice fizzy and truly creamy body, soft and rounded and chuggable. mild creamy mid palate with a soft herbal hop finish. i think it might be dawning on me why this style exists--for drinking reasons, i mean. this beer makes you think there might be a tiny bit more to the style than just training wheels for newbs.
