Deep amber colour with a thin white head. Light nutty aroma. No real noticible hop aroma. Some caramel in the nose. Flavour is also quite caramelly and toffeeish. Lingering nuttiness. A bit of woody hop flavour on the finish. More of an amber ale than an ESB. A bit of herbal character as well.

Draught Small but persistent lacey head; slightly hazy amber-olive beer. Bit creamy-lactic nose, little hops, tea jelly. Sweet, rounded nutty flavours. Touch of bread and licorice retronasal. Rather creamy, well bodied. Good, but just a little extra (UK) hops would push it to better balance.

Dark orange, brown maybe. Buttery nose and flavor... with some flavors of burnt peaches and bread crust coming through. Also some light hop bite near the finish.
