omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 22, 2006 Updated: Mar 31, 2006Draught at the brewpub. Clear deep golden. Lightly citric nose. Sweet and malty with rounded mouthfeel. A refreshing easy drinking beer with some character of its own. It works for me. Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 3, 2003 Light tan; faint aroma; woody cascades mixes with a nice pale malt character. Hints of toasty amber malts work well. Light but well-balanced, refreshing.
JorisPPattyn (4282), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 18, 2006 Draught Grainy-golden colour, light olive shine; no head. Light, again very freshly greenery smelling; touch of hops and lime. Like it. Good lemony hops and just enough pale malts to make it slightly sweet and not empty. OK, light body to style. So some of them CAN actually brew light ales. beerguy101 (3478), Newark, California, USA Aug 2, 2005 On tap at brewpub. Light gold color. Small head. Aroma is malty, fruity and sweet, touch grainy. A light to medium bodied blonde/golden ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Touch of citrusy hops. Quite a lot for a golden actually. Nice balance. Crisp and dry. Light and refreshing. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Skyview (2851), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Sep 2, 2008 On draught at the brewpub in Mukilteo, Washington. Pours a clear golden pale blonde brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates to a thin white ring and some spotty lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, some wheat bread, a touch of corn meal and citrus zest. Taste is light bodied, some carbonation and with a more grainy malt flavor compared to the summer blonde ale. Finish is light, crisp with a nice balance of malt and citrus hop aftertaste flavors.
