Thanks to bvc for the growler! Poured hazy, deeper orange with a well-retained short cpa of white head. The aroma was malty with honey, molasses, and richer caramel notes.. floral and darker resiny fruit accents.. just a hint of green apple deeper down. The flavor opened with caramel, honey, and brown sugar notes, with floral and earthy bitterness rolling in.. a little sharper on the back-end with nice balance between the thick sweetness and moderate bitterness. Rather heavily-bodied with lower carbonation on the palate.. maltier than expected, but the hop profile was nice.. the green apple re-emerged, and I’m wondering if it’s a slight growler-related infection. Either way, tasty and very drinkable.

Full bodied, delicious, surprisingly not a very heavy IPA, just chalked full of flavor. Appearance is not to dark, definitely a hoppy bear.

Pours golden brown with a malty nose. This beer is hoppy, bitter, clean and the aftertaste lasts but not that long. It is what you want when drinking an IPA.

On draught at the brewpub in Mukilteo, Washington. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind some spotty lacing and a thin white ring. Aroma of mostly citrus and piney hops with a touch of caramel and biscuit malts. Taste is mildly bitter, medium bodied, with flavors of light caramel malt with a distinct heavy grapefruit and tangerine fruit and zest. Finish has a long lasting bitterness that lingers a while after the finish. Not overly high in alcohol but still a decent west coast caliper IPA.

Growler from RiversideAK. Thanks Alex! Pours golden amber with a small white head and nice sticky lacing. Already got one pour out of this last night and the head is still retained very nicely. Im Impressed. Nose is fresh and hoppy, but it’s a bit muted. Flavor is spicy hops, some floral characteristics, a bit of bready malts. An easy drinking ipa, but I felt it could have packed the punch a little bit more. Well balanced overall with alcohol well hidden. Very sessionable, I will probably finish this growler tonight.

On draft at brewpub. Arrived a slightly hazed medium amber with a small to medium head that left stringy lacing. Aroma is rich with fruity and floral notes, caramel and toffee, well balanced with fragrant citrus and evergreen. Flavor is toasty and toffee, with a brash bitterness, more evergreen, grapefruit rind, and lingering bitter herbals and florals, with a bit of earth. Medium body, gentle carbonation.
