Piney like I like it. Good color body and aroma. Thank god for northwest beers and their hops. Low malt flavor as it should be but well balanced. Enjoyed it at the source. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

November 2011. 22 oz. bottle. Dark amber color with a large head. Pine, hop, citrus and caramel aromas. Malty flavors with caramel and hops. A bit spicy, but very refreshing and with a long finish.

Bottle from Bierkompass!
Nice label. Pours hazy amber colored with high white head. Smell has some fruity hops and some pine woods. Starts very fruity hoppy, lots of grapefruit and tropical fruit. Middle part is further deliciously fruity with massive grapefruit and some pine woods. Goes into a fruity-sweetish finish with some caramel.

Thanks to 5000 for sending me this beer. Can always count on Andre for the Pacific Northwest hookup. Pours a golden-orange color with a large white head. The aroma is full of citrus fruit, with some oranges and a bit of peach. There is also a nice biscuit malt aroma. The flavor is similar. I get a dose of biscuit malt to keep things from being too sweet, but there is also some orange, light chocolate, toasted nuts and peach notes thrown in. Low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Very nice IPA that has some odd notes not typically found in IPAs. In this case, those other notes work very well.

Bottle. Malty aromas. Clear amber pour off white head. Bland nondescript hops muddled with bland malts. Bad mouthfeel, lifeless.

Poured three fingers of head on a clear, medium straw body with lots of bubbles. The aroma is a wonderful pine and lemon smell, really nice and bright. The taste has a softer bitterness overall. It is balanced with some honey sweetness. The texture is a little fizzy with a crisp body. Quite enjoyable.

Aroma of haystacks and a bit of citrus. Pours a hazy orange with a thick foamy head. Dry, Peppery Grainy and musty flavor. Super clean dry finish. Interesting take on a dime a dozen style.

Diamond Knot IPA pours a copper color with a small white cap. Aroma is citrusy. Flavor is orange rind and grapefruit. It is definitely dry-hopped like a traditional IPA. The hops really come through. Excellent IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
