Light haze on this amber beer, decent white head. Softish palate, a little dry. Fine carbonation. Smooth malt - trace of caramel. Piney smooth hops, floral too. Whispers of pineapple and orange. Semi dry finish with a mildly bitter aftetaste. Tasty and very drinkable.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy amber with a foamy off-white head. Nice aromas of floral and fruit. Medium body with foamy/frothy carbonation. Flavor is slightly coarse caramel with a good dose of bitter - seems to be floral, citrus and touch of pine. There are sweet bursts off and on. Finishes caramel and diminished bitter. Dang good ale.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured hazy amber color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy complex earthy hop and small malt aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bitter flavor with a medium to heavy bitter finish of moderate to long duration with a small alcohol burn as it warms. This is a very good beer.

hopscotch (8217) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 5, 2006
Draft... GABF ’06... Mostly clear, golden ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Aroma of PNW hops; grapefruit and pine with a rumor of mandarin orange. Solid malt backbone holds up nicely to the onslaught of bittering hops. Well-balanced like many PNW IPAs. Medium-bodied with restrained carbonation. Lengthy, moderately bitter finish.

from erzbierschof.ch - slightly hazy amber-orange beer with a modest head retention; solid hoppy aroma with notes of quince and pines; notes of honey too; moderate carbonation; full-bodied and gently sticky; a fair yet not aggressive bitterness; dry and long bitter fruity hoppy finish with lingering notes of tea
