Bomber shared with the MN crew. Light gold straw, no head, very little lacing. Big citrus hops, fairly sweet and sticky caramel smelling. Taste is quite a bit better. Big bitter citrus hops, moving to more caramel, toffee, wood, and more bitter hops. Fairly sweet before it bitters. Quite nice, but nothing crazy

[Bottle] shared by Armin, Caleb, and Greg. Thanks guys! Pours a slightly hazy deep copper with a quickly dissipating off white head. Aroma is pine, grapefruit peel, resin, and plenty of caramel backbone. Flavor is really resinous, bitter grapefruit peel, some caramel but generally pretty dry. Long bitter finish.

Bottle thanks to 5000! Clear brownish orange pour, a little lacing and an aroma of syrupy oranges. Flavor is dry and slightly woody hops and finished extremely dry and decently bitter.

Amber with a creamy white head and nice spotty lacing. Strong earthy hops. Citrus with a nice malt backing. Musky earthiness for the hops in the flavors. Some underlining bitterness and citrus.

Cloudy light amber color, small head. The aroma is hoppy, mildly fruity; but also grassy, and with an impression of wood and smoke. Dry mouthfeel; caramel and toffee flavor, a bit dusty; strong bitterness, resiny and creamy, but not enough fruity. Creamy toffeish final, long. Pleasant but not impressive.

Very tinny taste. Was a horrible ipa in my book. Bad pour with little head.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a little copper glow and a thick, luscious tan head. Aroma of pungent hops, grapefruit, pine, resin and a lot of alcohol tucked inside. Medium-bodied; Pungent bitterness of pine and grapefruit with a little effervescence, a good amount of alcohol and a pleasant resiny, dry finish. Aftertaste is nice and dry, pungent from the hops and showing a very small amount of citrus sweetness. Overall, a very nice IPA, showing great complexity, a nice hoppy character and a pleasant amount of sweetness and dryness - great to sample. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in Manassas, Virginia on 13-February-2011 sampled at home in Washington on St. Patrick’s Day, 17-March-2011.
