Even honey gold, with a lasting skim of white head. Aroma is sweet citrus with grapefruit and no pith. Taste is biscuity and a bit more dry than expected, with honey graham cracker into the clean finish. $5/22oz

22 oz bottle from Fred Meyer - Poured with a very bubbly and large head. Copper in color. Nice flavor once you get through the head. Good balance. No hop overkill, and very smooth. Hints of orange and a bit of hay to go with it.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Glouglouburp (4558) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 12, 2010
In short: A basic fruity IPA. Bottle not fresh?
How: Bottle 22oz. Consumed about one month after receiving it from brewolf, thanks a lot Michael
The look: Partly cloudy golden body topped by a small off-white head
In long: The nose is not as bright as I would have liked and offers basic fruity (citrus/grapefruits) hops. Taste has smooth caramel and breakfast fruit juice. The mild bitterness is assertive enough and the after-taste is mostly sweet. Although I consumed the beer soon after receiving it from a west-coast local I’m suspecting that this wasn’t a fresh bottle. There was some light buttery notes that make me suspect that maybe this wasn’t fresh. Will resample eventually, hopefully it will be very fresh, because Diamond Knots are not forever.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 hoptimist (99) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 10, 2010
Substantial caramel malt aroma with a light citrus lemon-grass scent and some pine resin in the background. Light orange-gold, a little hazy and a frothy white head that stayed tight for quite some time. Medium+ caramel malt sweetness and medium+ citrus and resin hop bitterness. Malt sweetness reveals first on palate but a quick hop attack ends that. Great balance in the middle with a long and slightly astringent finish. Medium body and lively carbonation. Really good IPA. Looking forward to trying the Industrial very soon.

Pours clear copper. Minimal head. Cirtus and "wet" smell. Sugary smell. Sharp, resiny hops. Finishes with a bite. Pretty nice.

bottle at Fort Wayne tasting - Pours slightly hazy light copper and smells mainly of grapefruit hops. The flavor has pleasantly crisp, strong hops bitterness with fruity and earthy tones. It’s medium bodied and enjoyable.
