COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Diamond Knot India Pale Ale, or IPA for short, is a copper colored, medium bodied ale. It is brewed in the traditional methods of IPA production with "true to style" ingredients.

Orange body; light head. Spicy pungent hop aroma. Medium bitterness; orange zest and hop oils. Again a solid IPA, but I am still a little underwhelmed.

22oz bomber from Bottleworks in Seattle. Pours a light golden, clear and with thin head that vanishes quickly. Aroma is hoppy with some marijuana notes and sweetness. Grainy flavour with a lot of resinous mouthfeel to start, turning grapefruity and more bitter to finish. Not the knockout its rating would suggest but a very decent IPA nonetheless.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2010 Well worth the wait on this one. What a nice drink. If only I grab this on a regular basis. Pour was a slight yellow with a nice white head. Lots of citrus in the aroma and flavor. Aroma also features a bit of pine notes as well. The hop profile is well done, very much like a west coast ipa. little bit of bitterness on the finish. Malt body is relatively light and not too assuming making this a nice easy to drink hop tasty beer.

Tap. Not as much hop aroma as I like but what there is I find to be mostly floral, flavor is mostly malt and bitter.

West USA trip 2010. Bottled. The aroma has some citrus and a bit of grass. Clear, yellow coloured beer with a white head. (as observed in a dark tent) The taste is moderate bitter, citric. Quite dry end. Good one.

At Cinebarre in Seattle suburb. Some citrus and grassy resin. Moderate hops and more of a pale ale to me. It’s OK, but not great. A bit watery and weak for an IPA, in my opinion.
