Pours a pale hazy yellow with two fingers of sandstone tan head. Nose is herbal and lightly citrusy with some sweet malty notes and a hint of wet peanut hull. Light citrus rind character in the flavor with an almost tea-like quality and spicy character. Light body and dry on the finish.

Bomber in Kalaloch Washington. Great place to enjoy a strong IPA like this. Lots of grapefruit hops, a mildly fruity beer with a dry, bitter finish. A good version of the style.

Bomber. Orange honey golden colored with dense off-white head. The aroma is mostly sweet caramel malt and resiny hops with a little bit of grapefruit toward the end. The flavor starts out with strong herbal hops bitterness and grapefruit citrus along with some pine and caramel malt notes. The finish is bitter and citrusy with a sweet and subtle orange peel aftertaste. Solid IPA with a good balance between the caramel malt and bitter hops flavors.

Sampler at Blue Star, Seattle. Hazy golden/amber body. Flowery aroma, sweet taste: rape, oranges and some malt. A tad too much carbonation. (With Stefan 19.Dec 2008)

Bottle-Crazy to me to think that this USED to be a top 50 beer back in 02-03 time period. That shows my age on this site i guess but whatev! Now ,its just a run of the mill IPA if you ask me-pours orange with a small fizzy head. piney and oxidizexd nose-woody and cardboard dominate with some medicinal aspects. flavors exhibit the woody piney hops and oxidized malt profile. lots of malt here but maybe due ot the age. However, the makeup of this beer doesnt seem to be all that great even with the age. I will seek it out fresh when im in the Seattle area.
