Nitro tap@ D-Knot. Black color with lasting light tan foam. Chocolate milk, sweet pale malt aromas. Rich, smooth mouthfeel. Mild dark chocolate flavor with medium roast malt, dirt, mildly bitter finish-good.

Pours black with a creamy light tan head. Aromas of burnt malt and chocolate. Smooth and creamy. Flavor is smooth burnt malt and a good bit of dark chocolate. Coffee? Not in my mouth. Very tasty stout.

2010-07-01. Black body, small creamy tan head and nice lace. 4+ Flavour is a touch odd, pretty dilute, watery roast malt, light bitterness. Aroma is muted but pleasant, modest roast. 6+ Thin palate is far too light for a stout. Okay, but pretty weak. Feels watered down. On tap at Diamond Knot, Mukilteo

[3056-20100701] Tap. Full roasty malt aroma. Murky, dark dark brown body with a long-lasting creamy light tan head. Roasty fig malt flavour has an odd fruit tang at first and a long burnt coffee aftertaste. Medium-full body is fairly thin throughout. Interesting, but could stand to be more dry at the beginning.

Looks great and I was highly anticipating a great beer. As a diamon knot beer lover I was disappointed that this beer’s flavor was flat and almost tasteless. The little flavow that was there was promising however.

On nitro at the brewery. Pours dark black, tan head. Mild chocolate aroma with hints of coffee and nut. Very smooth (nitro), but left an oily sweetness on the tongue. Mediocre stout.

Good color, clarity with great aroma. Big dark beer with great flavors. The malts where roasty and filled the glass. The hops added where good and this was a tasty stout. The beer did seem a tad watery but for that it was still pretty good.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a black color with a longlasting tan head. Roasted malty chocolate and coffee aroma. Has a smooth roasted malty bitter chocolate flavor with some hints of coffee. Dry roasted malty chocolate finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.
