3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JCapriotti (1379) - Milwaukee, USA - SEP 29, 2005
Nice coppery amber color… medium sized creamy off-white head.
Light watery, citrusy hop aroma.
Nice biting, but mellow hop taste. I sat on this bottle maybe six months or so, and to me, the hops show their age a little. But that said, they are delicious. The hops and caramel are what I consider stale, in a good way. Resiny green hops. To me, not commonplace, just well-done. I loved the way everything came together, and much better than the average IPA.

22 oz. from Chuck’s. Great IPA and different from the citrus ones I usually go for. Smells great, like fresh pine and resin. Super sticky lacing. This beer tastes so good and full. Another commenter hinted that the beer includes rye. If so, I’m a total convert. Another dastardly drink from Dick.

Mix of hops and malt in the aroma. Hazy red orange color with a small white head. Sweet beginning with a sharp bitter middle that fades in the finish.

22oz bottle. Rating #203. Dark amber/copper pour with a thin off-white head. Light pine and some decent citrus aromas going on here, although the are fading just a bit. A little sweet and medium bitterness that sticks to the tongue pretty good, nice IPA. (1705)

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a slight brown hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is a combination of strong pine with a strong sweet grain and biscuit backbone. Flavor begins with sweet grains but has a growing pine backbone as well as a hint of grapefruit.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 TheRealMGD (385) - Lakewood, Washington, USA - JAN 4, 2011
Bomber. Hazy orange-amber pour with an off-white head leaving a coarse lace. Chocolate cake nose with a sweet start and bitter, cheese finish. Middle is cocoa with some pine hops. Medium-heavy body with light carbonation. Not a great IIPA, but this bottle may be past its prime
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 anders37 (9920) - Malmö, SWEDEN - DEC 12, 2010

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 cmonster (683) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 22, 2010
Bomber served in a tulip. Near clear dark orange-amber in color with a large beige head. Good retention and the lacing is quite resiny and sticky. Malty sweet aroma of caramel, toffee, and rye, along with orange citrus and light grassy hops. There’s also a touch of heat. Medium-full body, very sweet creamy palate, and a big, balanced, sticky finale. It may be the case that this particular bottle is past its peak as the malts seem to dominate the hops. Very good in any case. This is a rich, full-bodied beast.

22 oz. bottle, pours hazy orangey amber with a big white head. Aroma of rye, citrus hops, caramel malts, and a fruity character. Flavour of strong rye, bitter hops, and fruity characteristics. Unique, exquisitely flavoured.

Ahhhh, I haven’t had this gem since...well, since working for the Dictatorship that is Bottleworks/Brouwers a few years back. Regardless...Dicks has created quite the product for these guys. Little known fact...it’s a Double Rye IPA! Lots of fruit on the malts up from, which morphs into an almost barleywine style flavor within the body with the rye malt addition. Fairly sweet, plummy, and hopped rye on the end, this is definitely a good brew. Finding it outside of Bottleworks however can get tricky. Try Corner’s Deli on 85th and 8th if you’re in the hood. GREAT beer for a corner store, promise.

Aroma is bread, fruity, citrus, peach. The appearance is a relatively clear amber red, white head. The flavor is bread, caramel, fruit. The mouthfeekl is thick and oily. The finish is piney and resiny hops. I wasn’t expecting this to rise to the level of greatness, but it has.
