3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tastes very, very chocolate-y and is so very smooth. Thereís a little bit of milky cream flavor as well that mingles well with the chocolate and coffee that predominates this brew. Not terribly bitter, but the flavor has a mellow bitterness that is balanced with the creaminess. Just the right texture as well.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark brown pour, dark tan head. Aroma of milky coffee with some grain and honey. Taste is more subdued; astringent sour and roasty. Thin wet mouthfeel for a stout. I like a bit more body. It is creamy though.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Super dark brown coloured body with a thin oily light brown head. Aroma of tons of roasted malt, milk, coffee and a lot of anise and spice notes. Medium-bodied; Assertive roasted malt flavours with prunes, raisins, nuts and a lot of lactic sugars noticeable. Aftertaste a touch lighter with a slightly thinner body, some caramel sweetness and a lot of earthier, nutty flavours. Overall, a nice robust beer with a complex flavour - a bit needed on the body, but a nice beer to sample for sure! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Pear Delicatessen in Seattle, Washington on 08-February-2013 for US$2.00 sampled a day later in my hotel room in Seattle on 09-February-2013.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
355ml bottle pours almost black in color with a finger of light beige head that leaves some spotted lacing. Aroma is roasted grains with chocolate and coffee and hints of hops. Taste is roasted malt and coffee bitterness with a caramel chocolatey malt sweetness that balances things out. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation leaving a nice mouthfeel. I wouldnít go so far as to call this a sweet stout, but this is a really tasty brew and highly recommended.

It was my girlfriend with the dirty mind who laughed at the idea of this beer being "Dickís Cream". As a heterosexual male, itís not often I yearn for some "Dickís Cream", but for this Stout Iíll make an exception. And donít get me started on describing the "head"...

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours very dark, almost black, with very little tan head. Aroma is a bit thin, notes of malt, coffee, and dark fruits. Taste is smoother and a bit creamier. Very drinkable and rich, but not as complex or rich as an Imperial. Nicely done!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark brown, see-through cola-color at the edges. Fizzy light-brown head, fades to nothing after a couple of minutes. Aroma is pine, grass, roast, coffee, and chocolate, all in equal amounts. It doesnít really smell that sweet or malty though. Light and creamy body. Flavor has a touch of yummy malt sweetness, but this isnít really a cream/milk/sweet stout in my book. Thereís just not enough milky sweetness and body. Grass, light coffee, light bitterness, light sweet malt. There is a lovely twang of yummy caramel-milk that comes out near the aftertaste once the beer is warmed up. Itís the saving grace for this beer, as it is really not impressive otherwise.
