Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours dark ruddy amber with a creamy 4 finger beige/tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and something herbal. Full bodied. Flavor is sweet, chocolate, coffee, floral, herbal, lots of stuff. Then it goes bitter though the malt is still present. A bit of evergreen pops up. Lots going on here. Deadly delicious.

Bomber thanks to Brewdad. Pours a very dark almost black color with some red hues, a medium beige head. A sweet nose of caramel, berries, some syrupy malts. The flavor is nice; dry, some heat, caramel, toasted dry malts, fruity, earthy berries, ash and tobacco. Decent. Very dry.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2011 I think of this ale as a couple steps below a stout, but in a good way. Very balanced, nice flavor, light but pleasant aroma that hints of chocolate, medium body. A little bit of a cola taste in this which I do not care for, but overall a decent ale.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 riversideAK (4566) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - APR 25, 2011
Dark fruits up front on the nose with notes of roast, dark bread and earthy hops. Pours dark brown with some auburn highlights here and there, thin head settles to not much at all. The flavor is a balanced mix of dark fruit, light roast, earthy hops, dark bread, and a hint of caramel and chocolate perhaps. Light earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium carbonation on a full body. Nice stuff.

22. Pours a nearly opaque dark brown with rubied edges (if you reeeaaaally look). Looks dense and heavy. Nice creamy dark tan mousse on top; unfortunately it doesn’t stick around for very long. Decent webby lace. Nice rich plummy nose, showing some walnuts and dark roasty bits. Creamy medium body, fairly understated carb. Toast, plums, walnuts, roast, and black bread on the mid-palate. Pleasant and complex. Nice substance, a hefty beer. Would buy again.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 BillKismet (2757) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 15, 2011
Thick, nearly opaque, mahogany body with luxurious head. Intriguing nose of sweet malt, taffy, and candi sugar. Candi-malt flavor with a fluourishing cotton candy finish. Sweet malts and bubble gum contribute to the complexity as do a roasted wheat touch. A fair amount going on here and thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 5000 (4104) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - APR 13, 2011
Bottle:   Cola in color, thin spritzy off-white head, sparce lacing.   Biscuity nose, bready, certainly malty.   Yeah, thats pretty malty right up front there.   Quite the malt bomb.   Also bready, slightly nutty, biscuity too.   Yeah, real biscuity.   Perhaps some of that color color is rubbing off onto the flavor as it also appears to have some diet cola like flavors too.   Body and mouthfeel are hefty, thankfully not sticky.   Finishes very malty, strong biscuit and whole wheat breadiness.   Not bad, could use some bright floral/citrus/hop stuff to counteract the huge maltiness.   I like malty beers, but I like balanced beers more.   Decent, but a real malty one.

On tap at TCBF, pours reddish brown. Aroma and flavour of caramel, sweet malts and some fruitiness. Not complex, but still nice.
