Copper pour with little head. Aroma is definitely cidery, with some spice, and some alcohol. The flavor is more spice, fruit, apples, bananas, candi sugar, alcohol. Surprisingly easy to drink at 11%. Nice try.

Jun 22, 2008 Pours with nice head, dark amber color. Smells fruity. Tastes of plums and other fruits. A good belgian which is easily drinkable.

Jun 13, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, dark amber body with a thin, off-white head.
Smell: Fruity nose smelling of cherries and plums seasoned with cinnamon and other various spices. Some toasted caramel, too.
Taste: Dark carmelly maltiness with some toastiness to it. A smidgen of candi sugar. Oh, and the spices. Oh, and that fruitiness. Slight doughy yeastiness. Some mild hop bitterness. Sticky, fruity, semi-dry finish.
Mouthfeel: A bit beyond medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Fairly tasty and rather easy to drink given the alleged ABV. Not bad at all!

Jun 10, 2008 A toasty biscuit aroma with dried fruit. Almost amber brown pour with a sticky clinging lace and head. Very abv warmth jumps out at you. Vanilla flavor and a good bitter. Good carbonation but just a tad thin. Solid all round good smooth warm beer.

Jun 7, 2008 Received 12-oz bottle from Liquid Solutions.biz in Portland, Oregon. Pours a semi-clear amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of fruity caramel malt, some raisin, roasted nuts and a touch of yeast funk. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with a light tart fruit and caramel malt flavor with a touch of pepper. Finish is semi-sweet, some alcohol bite with a fruity malt aftertaste that slowly disappears. A nice fruity Belgian ale.

Jun 3, 2008 From a 12 ounce bottle purchased at By The Bottle in WA--Poured a murky yet light amber body with a very small whitish head. Nose of sweet malts, nutty and sour yeast, and some alcohol fruitiness. Tart and gripping, nearly cloying. Dark fruitiness that lingered and sharp hop bitterness that hung around for a while. Spicy, roasty, and complex, but not in a great way. Good buy for $2 a bottle though.
