COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A pale ale hopped to the extreme! This beer starts out as a nice pale ale until it reaches the kettle. Throughout the course of the 90 minute boil four massive hop additions are made which transform this beer into a hop-head's dream come true. Both Chinook and Tomahawk hops from the Yakima valley are added in extreme quantities for the maximum bitterness, flavor and aroma.

Cloudy reddish-amber. Big, mesa-making head. Mossy, woody, kumquaty hop aroma. Fruity, bitter, calamansi taste, with pommelo, passion fruit and wood. Hops get a bit metallic at the end. Refreshing.

Bottle: Has a somewhat musty pale fruit aroma. Dark Copper body with white head. Flavor is medium bodied with a decent mix of fruity and bitterness. Dry palate but nonetheless a decent brew.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange brown, with a beautiful fluffy white head. What a nice looking IPA. Aroma is not bad either, brown sugar and sweet candy like fruit hop aroma. The flavor is a bit odd and unique on this one. Malt profile is sort of like a British pale wih some strong tea notes, but takes a backseat to the hop kick that is very peppery, bitter, and slightly grapefruity. There is something in the finish that is distracting that I can’t quite pinpoint, sort of a medicinal rubbing alcohol flavor. In general, there are some interesting things going on, but I don’t find harmony in all of the flavors. A well crafted beer, but does not really jive with my personal tastes for IPA’s. I am rather picky when it comes to that style.

Light .citrusy hop aroma, some sweet malt backing, light hoppy slighly sweet taste, with a lot of bitterness in the finish.Bitterness is obviously what Dick had in mind here. Its a nice easy drinking bitter beer

Flower power!, doughy. Dry. Bitter fruit skin. Alive and healthy aura. White half inch head. If you like dry bitter bready beer, you’d like this one. It seems to be missing a a little more sweetness that i look for in an IPA.

Draught Clear amber-copper; good, fluffy off-white head. Cocos; cookies and USA hops, not overdone constitute the nose. Mild bitter hops, and again, getting cocos in the taste. Bitterness is hoppy, grapefruit and hopsacks. Slightly burning MF, bit harsh, piney aftertaste. Good stereotypic Westcoast IPA.

Nice clear dark golden beer, with a large frothy eggshell coloured head. Good spicy aromas..smewhat piney, and fresh. The taste is VERY hop centered on this one, even for the PNW, very piney/grapefruity and very bitter, not much balance but strangelly refreshing. Pretty good brisk mouthfeel to this beer. Not a bad beer at all, but for me rather too imbalanced and that prevents me consuming too much in one sitting

A deep copper color with a huge head to this beer. I got a fresh one Woooo Hooooo. Has a good balanced flavor and the hops where aweome with this brew. I liked the malts and the fruity flavors I was tasting. A good dry beer with a great hopped flavor.
