CaptainCougar (4599), Rockville, Maryland, USA May 11, 2008 Pours a transparent copper orange with a frothy, spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty pale malty with some caramel notes and a touch of piny hops. Starts with a full carbonation and lightly sweet pale malt flavor with a crisp grapefruity bittering hoppy presence. A decent IPA, but could use a little more balance.
cstuartj (240), Washington, USA Jun 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours very nice, cloudy golden yellow with big dense head and great lacing. Noise is okay, hops, pin, a bit of malt and citrus. Taste is fruity and malty sweet, not what i want in an IPA really. finishes okay. BOLTZ7555 (404), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jun 14, 2008 Its most impressive characteristic is, without doubt, its appearance. It all goes down hill from there. Nice 2-inch fluffy white head and burnt orange color. Decent carbonation. Flavor is overly bittered and lingers on the palate. There isn’t anything to add balance. Shag (1750), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA May 26, 2008 This one poured a copper colorwith a faint perfume and orange aroma. The flavor is rather malty for an IPA with just a hint of bitterness. Some oranges and lemons in the flavor. Overall nothing wrong with it but nothing to make you hoop and holler. I will also refrain from "dick" jokes kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA May 25, 2008 Date: 05/11/2008
