Commercial Description:
Deep and toasty, yet drinkable red ale. Lots of specialty grains in the mash really make this beer. Well roasted Munich malt and rich caramel malt contribute depth and richness of flavor, good body and mouthfeel, and a beautiful red color. We then add a melanoidin malt which is what gives the Irish its unique "toasty" flavor. English style hops and yeast make it a favorite with everyone.

Copper, cloudy, head of mixed bubble size, slightly malty nose. Fantastic ale! Very smooth, slightly sweet but with toasted character... low esters. An excellent representation of an Irish ale.

(draft) Clear, light-copper body, off-white head. Aroma and taste are both moderately sweet, caramel, roasty/peat. Light-medium body, clean and crisp. Excellent for style.

Deep red garnet color; medium head; wonderful bready aroma. Malty and yummy. Filling. Spiciness runs in this family.

Good dark amber color with a small light head circling the inside of the pint. Malty aroma, with a spicey fruitful taste. I’m fairly impressed that a Northwest company can pull off a Irish ale so well.

Glowing deep orange or pink, perhaps. Generous sandy colored head. Smells of rich caramel malts, apple crumb, tastes very similar... apple and pumpkin bread. Refeshing and slightly sour with one bad off flavor, something metallic.

Thanks to beerhandy for this - cloudy orange pour - light, bready, somewhat hoppy aroma, with hints of minerals that come through much more in the flavor - medium-bodied - a kind of orangy sweetness that the minerals do a good job of keeping at bay - nothing special, but a nice, drinkable ale.

Bottle, pours a clear warm orange amber with a thin and fading pale yellow head. Thin aroma of nuts and caramel with herbal hops. Medium body and carbonation. The taste is sweet, nutty malt, maybe with a touch of apricot. Big, crisp finish with a hint of vanilla. I’m liking this one.
