COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Classic amber ale Dick’s style. Large portions of two special lightly roasted malts contribute a deep maltiness to this very drinkable ale. The bittering hop addition is designed to achieve a perfect balance: not bitter-not sweet-just right.

Pours a nice hazy orange with a light tan head. Has a nice fruity aroma with some malt and pine. Flavor is very smooth and a thick palate, with notes of hops, friuit, lemon, and caramel. I would buy it again.

dense and thick brown body with a veritable plethora of yeasty sediment, huge rocky head that quickly disapears, yeasty raisin nose, sweet caramelized flavor, slightly roasty, sharp and pointy malts, yeasty belgian zest, something in here actually gives my mouth a numbing feeling, like eating cloves, i don’t understand what that could be from but i like it

Bottle Pours a clear copper/amber witha nice full light tan head. Aorma is a nice malt, and brown sugar. Not much hops, and also a bit of banana or pear. Flavor is mainly woody and cardboard. The dark malts come through and attempty to salvage some assembelance of flavor. Finish is dry and grassy with ust \hint of hops.

A dark amber color brew with a thick white foamy head. There is a strong malty presence with a light hops aroma. Loved the malty Big malty flavor. Sweet carmel and a tad sharp. Could use more hops and a little less malt. Good easy drinking beer.

Bottle; now labeled as Mountain Amber Ale. Strong malty aroma - caramel plus. Almost smells like a brown ale. The color of ripe apricot flesh; the white head never got far, and then retreated to film. Light lacing as the glass is lightly twirled. Medium body; medium carbonation. Almost creamy as the carbonation leaves. The malt is harsh, much like many brown ales. Earthy. The hop seems floral, and a sour taste pops up. Could be citrus. Seems a bit like the sour notes in many Siletz ales. The final finish is unsmooth medium dark malt - not the sugar, just the roast. The hop seems to never break even. Interesting. More guts than many ambers.

Solid looking amber with an inch and 1/4 head. Fresh, vernal, fruity hop mix in the nose. Moderate herbal/fruity hop flavor is nice and easy with a briefly bitter finish. Fair balance and certainly a decent brew--I would say would concur with the assessment that this has a grainy taste to it. Minimal complexity. An easy quaff. An aptly named ale.

Bottle. Pours a toffee amber with an average off-white head. Aroma is very toasty. Flavour is toasty toffee with an interesting fruity acidity in the finish. Mildly bitter. Simple but solid, a nice amber.

pours a semi-hazy amber-orange with a small fluffy, off-white head that sticks around, lively carbonation, good lacing.
smell of malt, caramel, earth, some hops.
taste is sweet, hops, citrus, some caramel, touch of pine, ends on the bitter side.
