COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A mild, pleasant drinking ale with a touch of residual sweetness. Caramel and chocolate specialty malts are combined with premium northwest 2-row malted barley to create a light amber colored wort. We add just enough hops for a delicate bitterness, subdued hop flavor and a nice aroma. Fermentation with our house yeast creates a nice English style ale which every beer drinker loves.

citrusy lotion cascade hop aroma with some caramel malt. Amber color with some white sticky head & moderate lacing. The flavor is more of the musty sweet malts and light hops. Fairly balanced with a medium body.

light pale ale, not very floral or hoppy, a fairly strong bitterness, somewhat metalic. Very close to Seirra Nevada Pale Ale.

Light amber in color with a small amount of white head. Aroma was slightly hoppy. Fairly sweet flavor with almost a fruity taste. Hops are very faint and it had a kind of thin mouthfeel.

Pours a clear honey color with a very nice head that left some nice lacing behind on the glass. Scent is rather sweet and floral, but not floral in a hoppy way. Interesting. Flavor is herbal/floral/sweet as well. It's definately not a highly-hopped APA, but there's definately a hop presence. The aftertaste is caramel and toffee but after that departs there's something...odd tasting. If not for that it would receive a higher score. Mouthfeel is typical but a bit more cleansing than normal. Overall it's average yet not typical. It's not outstanding but it definately has its own character. Try this and you'll see what I mean.

Light amber in color. Nice grapefruit aroma, balanced by tropical fruit, and cotton candy. Semi-sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Toasted marshmallow lingers. Quite a light body, however.

The Dick signature of strange malt and unbelievable wateriness is definitely in this beer. A northwest pale ale should have about thirty times the IBUs this has, and what the hell is that funk in the malt? Bad mouthfeel for sure.

The head was alive with a lot of carbination. Nice thick yellow color to the beer. Nice hoppy nose, with the flavor to match. Average balance of malt, but could have used a bit more. A little too heavy on the hops, but thats ok to. Nice bitter is left on the palate for a few minutes. Be sure to drink it in that 55 degree range too cold and it blah, too warm and it taste like eating hops.

Medium yellow brown color, small head. A medium bodied pale ale. Rather hoppy but balanced with a nice malty sweetness. Crisp taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Re-Rate 5/12/02: Cloudy amber in color, white head that dissipates quickly, fair lace. Nose is slightly sweet, a touch of ’earthyness’ is present. Begins sweet, the top is light, the finish is lightly hopped, dry, acidic, moderate carbonation. Drinkable, and just a bit light for me, but good none the less.
