Bottle. Aroma very toasted with a good deal of herbal, floral, and citrus hop notes, though these notes never overwhelm the toasty malt. Flavor continues to be malt forward with hop notes that remain in the background but still pop. The definition of smooth and drinkable. A great session brew.

Tastes nearly identical to their Irish Ale. A very good basic beer that does not seem watered down like most of the more main stream beers.

light pale ale, not very floral or hoppy, a fairly strong bitterness, somewhat metalic. Very close to Seirra Nevada Pale Ale.

Re-Rate 5/12/02: Cloudy amber in color, white head that dissipates quickly, fair lace. Nose is slightly sweet, a touch of ’earthyness’ is present. Begins sweet, the top is light, the finish is lightly hopped, dry, acidic, moderate carbonation. Drinkable, and just a bit light for me, but good none the less.

Medium yellow brown color, small head. A medium bodied pale ale. Rather hoppy but balanced with a nice malty sweetness. Crisp taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

The head was alive with a lot of carbination. Nice thick yellow color to the beer. Nice hoppy nose, with the flavor to match. Average balance of malt, but could have used a bit more. A little too heavy on the hops, but thats ok to. Nice bitter is left on the palate for a few minutes. Be sure to drink it in that 55 degree range too cold and it blah, too warm and it taste like eating hops.
