Commercial Description:
Golden colored and crisp with the distinctive rye character. We combine the highest percentage of flaked rye possible with 2-row malted barley to extract the maximum rye flavor. We carefully sparge the mash and the boil the wort. We make three hop additions during the boil with an emphasis on balance in the finished beer

Bottle. Pours clear gold with a lacy but fading white head. Just a touch of rye in the nose, which is mostly hay and vegetable. Medium body and light carbonation. Lightly sweet taste with some grain and spice. Dry finish, absolutely drenched in rye.

12 oz. bottle - pours clear, pale gold with thin white head and plenty of carbonation pumping away; aromas of apple juice and white grapes; not much rye, but has a grainy feel to the nose; crisp and very drinkable with light malts and thin body; rye comes mostly at the finish

Received a 12-oz bottle via trade with 5000. Pours a clear golden amber brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and thin white ring. Aroma of dry multi-grain bread malt, a touch of grassy hops, and some dried herbs. Taste is light to medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of dry grain malt, some rye character, grassy and vegetable hops and a touch of spice. Finish is a little light and gritty at first and then a crisp finish.

Very crisp rye drink - somewhat grainy with some tart fruit and a buttery finish. A bit grassy as well.
