3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Clear golden color with lasting white head, no lacing. Herbal, earthy, light fruit aromas. Medium bodied with average co2. Earthy, dusty, bready pale malt flavors with a light fruit sweetness___ nicely drying bitter finish---not bad

floral, earthy, bubblegum aromas crystal clear golden color constant bed of foam with some decent lacing. Has a light body with a bit of sweetness and soft bitterness some creaminess. This bottle had a bit of age on it I seem to remember liking this beet on tap better, decent summer quenched.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Crisp, slightly copper tinted golden coloured body with a thin, half a centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of very pale malt, a hint of grassy and herbal notes and a tiny bit of sweetness and alcohol. Light-bodied; Sharp metallic and earthy malt notes with a little sweetness and a hint of fruits with some grassy flavours finishing it off. Aftertaste shows a mostly malt flavour with hints of alcohol, sugar, grass and a little rice. Overall, not such a great beer, but somewhat refreshing. I didnít get any of the yeast notes nor of the hoppiness. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 12-April-2013 for US$0.99 sampled at home in Washington on 18-June-2013.

355ml bottle pours a hazy pale golden color with a huge white head that retains quite well and leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and light fruits with some yeast. Taste is light malty sweet with some light fruits and mild hop bitterness with a yeasty finish. Light bodied and generously carbonated. A decent Belgian blonde ale, but a little on the thin side.

Bottle with Carla. Pours lightly hazy gold with white foam. Smells sweet with hints of belgian yeast. Tastes lightly wheaty and strongly of authentic Belgian yeasts.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a light orange into Delirium Tremens Tulip. Three fingers of white head..
Light, crisp smell. Light fruits. Not a true Belgium smell. Maybe a bit bland.
Sweet taste, but not much of it. Really light bodied.
If you want a cheap Belgium knock off, this isnít that close. Nothing special.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Shipped to me by my wife on a trip to Portland. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright yellow color with a huge foamy white head that lingered forever and left some lacing. The aroma was faint sweet citrus, bread and pepper. The flavor was faint tart citrus, bread and a bit of table sugar. The finish was short, tangy, citric and a bit bready. Medium body. Ok.

Has an off-putting aroma, smells very sugary with hints of nutmeg and clove but is ruined with a weird sour rottenish smell as well. Iím not sure if I like the smell, or if I hate the smell. A cloudy pale yellow with little head and a few tiny floaters. Flavor is extremely mellow. Itís definitely very sweet and a little watery which smooths it out. All I can taste is a strong yeast flavor; there are almost no hops in this brew. Even though there is a miniscule amount of hops though, it feels well balanced (as though itís just the right amount of flavor). Of all the Belgians Iíve had this is the only one that I donít mind.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle into Trappist glass. Aroma is Belgian yeast, pepper, old books (thatís a good smell), crisp apples, some cheese. Complex, but a little subdued. Pours an almost clear gold hue with a dissappearing head that leaves a long-retaining collar of foam and creamy lace. Taste is very Belgian--sweet, peppery, no bitterness. Medium to high carbonation. Seems like a great take on a classic Belgian style. I donít understand the low scores on here.
