| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jul 12, 2008 I took my own advice to rate beers from this brewer blind and this time it did not fare too well. Really quite dreadful and the 1.4 score may even be a tad generous. The main characteristic I pick up from this is a metallic finish. This brewer is all over the place in quality, if my own ratings are any guide.

Yeasty, caramel nose with some nutty gritty, sweet hops. Flavor of sticky, oaty, creamy ingredients. Very enjoyable though not super memorable. Dicks continues to impress. Yum! | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2008 This smells terrific ( i love the belgian yeasts and coriander). The taste is good but not great. Each sip i formed a different opinion. It’s alright but not great. Maybe it would be better off tap. Skyview (4121), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 26, 2008 Received a 12-oz bottle via trade with 5000. Pours a semi-clear orange amber brew with a thick off-white head that slowly dissipates to a creamy off-white head and some good lacing. Aroma of sweet amber malts, flowery hops, a touch of candi sugar, bubble gum, some toffee and pear fruits. Taste is medium body, very little carbonation with flavors of light banana, mango, a touch of bubble gum and a touch of coriander. Finish is semi-sweet, crisp with a mild fruity aftertaste that slowly disappears. One of Dick’s better brews. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 27, 2008 Pours honey-amber with a 2" cream color head. Good amount of lacing. Aroma is floral piney hop. One of the most aromatic brews I’ve had.
The taste is rich malts with mildly bitter hops. Hops seem to be mostly of European type. IBU seems fairly high for the style which I enjoyed. Good bitter finish. Very tasty. after4ever (2859), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 24, 2008 12-oz. Pours a bright light gold with burnished copper shadows. Thick fizzy white head that falls quickly to light film and a bit of lace. Dust and candy sugar on the nose...too much dust. Smells nice and belgian, but just not amazing. Medium body, soft carb (what little there is of it). Mid-palate gets a bit candied, but not overly so. Caramel, maybe green apples, a little bit of floral stuff happening. This is a nice light refreshing beer, fun to drink, but unfortunately pretty forgettable. Maybe a nice introduction to belgian styles if you’re local to it and can get it fresh and want to turn somebody on to the wide world east of the pond. tronraner (1939), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 5, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with small whitish head. The aroma is spicy with pepper and coriander, then a little bit of orange and bubblegum. The flavor has a light sweetness to it, with the same spices from the nose. A touch of fruity hops comes at the finish. Decently crisp and refreshing, even if kind of boring. troopie (915), USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours orange yellow with large foamy head. Aroma of banana, bubblegum and citrus. Banana and bubblegum in flavour with little bitterness. Sweet fruity finish. Light body and mouth. This is low enough in alcohol to be a session beer, but too sweet for me to drink more than one or two.
