COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lighter, refreshing Belgian-style ale. This mash consists of a small quantity of Munich and caramel malts for a light body and color. A larger percentage of wheat malt gives this beer it's crispness and drinkability. It is hopped sparingly for minimal bitterness and mellow hop flavor and aroma. We ferment with a classic Belgian yeast strain which gives this beer unique fruity esters.

Bottle with Carla. Pours lightly hazy gold with white foam. Smells sweet with hints of belgian yeast. Tastes lightly wheaty and strongly of authentic Belgian yeasts.

Pours a light orange into Delirium Tremens Tulip. Three fingers of white head.. Light, crisp smell. Light fruits. Not a true Belgium smell. Maybe a bit bland. Sweet taste, but not much of it. Really light bodied. If you want a cheap Belgium knock off, this isn’t that close. Nothing special.

Shipped to me by my wife on a trip to Portland. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright yellow color with a huge foamy white head that lingered forever and left some lacing. The aroma was faint sweet citrus, bread and pepper. The flavor was faint tart citrus, bread and a bit of table sugar. The finish was short, tangy, citric and a bit bready. Medium body. Ok.

Has an off-putting aroma, smells very sugary with hints of nutmeg and clove but is ruined with a weird sour rottenish smell as well. I’m not sure if I like the smell, or if I hate the smell. A cloudy pale yellow with little head and a few tiny floaters. Flavor is extremely mellow. It’s definitely very sweet and a little watery which smooths it out. All I can taste is a strong yeast flavor; there are almost no hops in this brew. Even though there is a miniscule amount of hops though, it feels well balanced (as though it’s just the right amount of flavor). Of all the Belgians I’ve had this is the only one that I don’t mind.

12 oz bottle into Trappist glass. Aroma is Belgian yeast, pepper, old books (that’s a good smell), crisp apples, some cheese. Complex, but a little subdued. Pours an almost clear gold hue with a dissappearing head that leaves a long-retaining collar of foam and creamy lace. Taste is very Belgian--sweet, peppery, no bitterness. Medium to high carbonation. Seems like a great take on a classic Belgian style. I don’t understand the low scores on here.

12oz bottle pours deep gold with thin white head. The aroma is full and fruity sweet with pears, apples and some ripe apricot to go along with a touch of yeasty spice. The taste is smooth and grainy malts cutting slowly into pears, apples and a mild level of spiciness. It gets a touch blunted tartness toward the finish to add some interest and balance.

Pours hazy yellow orange with a fizzy white head. Aroma of metallic hops, moldy bread, some caramel. Taste is light and fruity with a slight earthy bitter finish. Medium light body, lively carbonation. Overall there is just something lacking.

Thanks to the Tampa Crew for hooking me up with this one. Pours hazy yellow-orange with a white head. Nose is malt, caramel, banana, yeast, and some acetone/ booze. Flavor is malt, caramel, berry, bubble gum, and floral notes. Interesting.
