COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lighter, refreshing Belgian-style ale. This mash consists of a small quantity of Munich and caramel malts for a light body and color. A larger percentage of wheat malt gives this beer it's crispness and drinkability. It is hopped sparingly for minimal bitterness and mellow hop flavor and aroma. We ferment with a classic Belgian yeast strain which gives this beer unique fruity esters.

Excellent ’Wit’ beer, hoppy and great bread dough flavors that make you want to drink another. Clean, crisp, very pleasant.

12 oz. bottle on 7/18/07. This is a nicely refreshing Belgian Ale that pours a clear amber with a nice white head. Light fruity aroma without any discernible hops. Crisp mouthfeel and a pleasing dry finish complement the light honey sweetness. Needs to be appreciated for a what it is: a light, well balanced, fruity, Belgian ale that drinks easily and satisfies.

Medium straw gold color, slightly cloudy, small head. A Belgian style wheat beer. Slightly malty, some hoppyness. Nice malt flavor, smooth taste with the typical banana and clove flavor of a wheat beer. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet, very little bitterness.

12oz bottle pours deep gold with thin white head. The aroma is full and fruity sweet with pears, apples and some ripe apricot to go along with a touch of yeasty spice. The taste is smooth and grainy malts cutting slowly into pears, apples and a mild level of spiciness. It gets a touch blunted tartness toward the finish to add some interest and balance.

Pours a pale gold with a small white head and nice lacing with a sweet malty aroma. Wonderful spicy taste, notes of citrus, hoppy and crisp finish. Ok body with decent carbonation. Very tasty - thanks G!

Bottle courtesy of scrizzz. Pours a hazy orange with a small white ring of head. Aroma and flavor of melon rind, Belgian yeast, and light fruits with a slightly hoppy finish. Very drinkable and quite tasty for an American-brewed Belgian ale. I don’t know why this gets such a low average. Nice, yeasty, fruity, and tasty.

12 oz bottle into Trappist glass. Aroma is Belgian yeast, pepper, old books (that’s a good smell), crisp apples, some cheese. Complex, but a little subdued. Pours an almost clear gold hue with a dissappearing head that leaves a long-retaining collar of foam and creamy lace. Taste is very Belgian--sweet, peppery, no bitterness. Medium to high carbonation. Seems like a great take on a classic Belgian style. I don’t understand the low scores on here.
