(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet grainy and spicy herbal hoppy nose with a touch of citrus. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Soft grainy taste with spicy herbal accents; moderately dry and bitter finish with notes of metal (09.08.08).

It’s golden with a creamy, white head and notes of malt, straw and bread. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw, bead, flower and the finish is dry.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear golden with a creamy egg white head. Grain, hay and a bit of sulfur. Medium and smooth palate. Short dry end.

Bottle. Golden with a bubbly foam. Aromas are grain and corn with vegetable notes and some grassy hops. Flavours are toast malts with sweet grain. Quite dry with grassy notes and yeast. Dry and peppery on the finish.

Appearance: Clear straw-yellow color. Lively, big bubbles sticking to the side of the glass. Huge, fluffy white head. OK retention.
Aroma: Typical grainy scent with notes of crisp bread crust, freshly mowed grass and a slight lemon-peel.
Flavor: Restrained grainy malty notes up front. Bearable level of lightly sulphury yeast, cooked-vegetables at the medium. Medium to heavy dryness of lingering grassy hop at the back.
Mouthfeel/Palate: Quenching, light bodied brew with lively, fizzy carbonation.
Overall Impression: German Pilsner with easy, dry, quenching quality. It would be more fresh and pure, but quite good for that price.

Bottle, 4.8%. Fruity aroma, smells a bit sweet. Clear golden colour, small stable white head. The flavour starts off with a distinctly rough bitterness. Then comes a little sewer taste and more rough bitterness. A bit shocking at first, but one’s tastebuds can get used to it.

Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, bread, grain, hay, taosted, fruity, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, light buttery. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic. [20090930]

Golden colour. Sparkly. Lightly fruity hop aroma. Clean, fresh, lightly fruity pils with a little bit of bitterness. Light body and a slightly watery finish.

Bottle @ Indian restaurant in Erlangen. Pale straw. Rising bubbles and a foamy head. Sweet, corn, and grass aromas. Soft palate but well-carbonated. Has a decent bitterness in the finish and the sweet cereal grains throughout. Mediocre, similar in character to a macropils.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of citrus and straw. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of citrus and straw as well as lighter notes of metal.

A Mes rate. Bottle at Quinns. Clean gold with a thin white head. Biscuity sweet malt with some rather harsh vegetables and cardboard. Slight metal. Really not a good beer.
