On tap at Die Weisse, Salzburg. Dark amber/brown coloured, medium sized creamy off-white head, sweet nose with touch of caramel. Yeasty, slight lactic and caramel taste with notes of fruits and candy sugar. Sweet finish and too sweet beer even to be good thirst quencher.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark brown with a huge and off-white to tan head. Aroma is overripe fruity, butterish and roasted malt. Fruity, lasting berry like impression - towards overripe. Mild citric and overripe fruity into a medium dry finish and slight citric finish.

omhper (15964) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 5, 2009
Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy nut brown, small hed. Light bubblegum aroma with hazelnuts underneath. Mid-dry and light bodied. The body falls through, making it thin and edgy. Finishes with some sloppy syrup, spritzy aluminium and hazelnuts.

On tap at Die Weisse brewery in Salzburg June 2008. Very beautiful brownish-orange color with nice unfading head. Overall a very drinkable and refreshing beer. One of the best dunkelweizens of the several I tried during my excursion through Austria.

Simple beer. Straight forward caramel malts mated to a light bodied beer with good fizz levels. Finish is weak. Hard to recommend.

larsga (4664) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 17, 2008
Big shiny yellowish beige head does not last. Deep orangey brown hazy opaque body. Roasty yoghurty fruity aroma with peppery wheaty notes. Dry peppery roasty taste with stale earthy banana notes. Some acidity. Lingering spicy herbal aftertaste. Quite good. (0.3l draft at die Weisse, Salzburg.)
