COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Danke an Faustusl. Test vom 22.8.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,10,11,12,12,12 - 11,45

(draught, at the brewpub) pours a deep golden-orange colour with a firm white head. aroma of butterscotch and nuts, with some caramel and a hint of summer fruits. flavour is nicely rounded, with spices and honey accentuating the wheat and the fruity notes. medium-bodied with soft carbonation. a bit on the heavier side of the weizen spectrum, but thoroughly enjoyable.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy deep golden, small head. Light papery banana aroma. Sweetish and light bodied. Too light body makes cardboard comes crashing in. Too vague esters to cover the cardboard. No bitterness. DUll and not really all that refreshing.

Light-bodied style. Mild fruits and talcum powder on the nose is a nice touch. Flavours lighten out considerably in the back palate and the finish is dry. Hints of licorice in the finish as well.
