COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Yeasty aroma with clove notes. Light orange color, hazy with small head. Spicy flavor with clove notes. Light sharp and peppery. Grapefruit and lemon notes with a light astringent, dry finish. Thirst quenching, spicy and much acid, but not very complex.

Draught at the brewery tap in Salzburg, a cloudy gold with a large pillowy white head. A wheaty aroma with orange and spice, though a little sulphuric. Better in the mouth at first, but very bitter in the finish.

0,5 l bottle, bought at Bierei, Vienna. Hazy amber-orange beer with a small but delicious head. Aroma of fruits like banana and orange-orange peel, some spicies like clove and cinnamon, light coriander-like perfume. Refereshing flavor with citruses, banana, fine top-yeast character, lively carbonation. Nice spicy taste of clove, some coriander. Acidic fruity aftertaste.

heavy (1956) - Split, CROATIA - MAY 17, 2013
16/04 A 0.5 l fliptop bottle from Ammersin liquor store, Vienna. It poured hazy orange body with medium to big head. Fine weizen aroma, bubblegum, banana some fine spices and cloves. Flavor was slightly on sweet side, chalk, bread, bubblegum. A bit empty for a weizen, let’s say thin to medium bodied with shorter and quite weird sourish finish, volatile acids that ruins this whole impression. Decent, refreshing and tasty anyhow.

Light-bodied style. Mild fruits and talcum powder on the nose is a nice touch. Flavours lighten out considerably in the back palate and the finish is dry. Hints of licorice in the finish as well.
