Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Decent taste with quite a bitterness. Tastes of malt and earth.

0,5 l bottle shared with McTapps. Pours in a bit more watery than the original. Comes also a bit sweeter. This is maybe the point. A bit less aroma but less bitter. Great for an alcfree and better than the one with fuel.

Bottle in Düsseldorf. Malty, yet a fine and distinct oakiness. Dry mout feel. For an alcohol free beer, this is splendid, and could merit a much wider distribution.

Clear amber color, small white head. Sweet wort aroma with rubber and grain. Light bodied, watery palate.

Test vom 04,04,2008: Im Glas hält sich die Schaumkrone zwar nicht schlecht, aber ist im gegensatz zum "richtigen" Alt schnell verschwunden, dafür ist noch ziemlich viel Kohlensäure enthalten. Geschmacklich liegt es allerdings weit hinter seinem Kollegen auch für ein Alkoholfreies. Auch die Süffigkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig, das Glas lässt sich schwer in wenigen zügen leeren. Der Geruch verbessert da auch nichts mehr. Fazit: Für ein Alkoholfreies ok, doch muss sich Diebels fragen ob sie das nicht auch besser hinbekommen hätten können. Nachdem das Diebels Light sehr gut abgeschnitten hat bin ich auf das Bier ganz ohne Alkohol gespannt. Es ist im GLas noch einen Tick heller als das light, die Krone schwindet schnell. Auch hier übertüntscht das Alt-Aroma den alkholfreien Geschmack, was natürlich nicht so gut gelingt wie bei dem Light. Im großen und Ganzen dennoch ein gutes alkoholfreies. Bottle. Pours clear amber with a medium off white head. The aroma is sweet malt, caramel and light tobacco. The flavour is citrus, malt and has lots of bitterness. Quite good for a low alc.

Botella. Sweet malty grainy aroma. Clear amber colour. Sweet toasty malty caramel grainy unpleasant flavour.

bottle. sampled well after its best before date. clear dark amber, smooth small white head. aroma is ryke, malts, sweet malts, faint caramel. flavor is roasted something, dry, wood, pretty unique flavor, but not really tasty at all.

Bottle. Dark golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is wort, caramel, malt. Flavour is dry, wort, caramel, malt, fruit. thin body. Bad beer.
